| Most of these animals become very lovable and friendly because of their dire situation and their instinct for survival. There is an URGENT need for friendly caring people to help and assist these homeless animals. There are also adult animals that have already been trained to some extent. These older animals would be perfect for older adults who don't have the patience or the time to train puppies. |
| Did your pet have too large a family? Do you need to find them a new home? Does your pet need medical attention and you can't afford it? |
| People that have pets with large families think they are saving their new pets by giving them away rather than taking them to the Shelter. In many cases (not all), people that receive free pets do not care for them as well for they have nothing "invested" in them. Some may not receive the Medical attention that is needed for the assurance of a healthy animal. |

The Mid Cities Humane Society is a volunteer non-profit organization with 25 members. We solicit donations from corporations and individuals that wish to promote our cause.
