What is a Poll?

A poll is a survey questionnaire you can place onto your site. You construct your survey question and possible responses using the Poll Designer. After you place your poll onto one of your pages and begin to gather results, you can view a graphical presentation of poll responses.

Creating Polls

To create a new poll or modify an existing poll click Polls at the top the Site Editor. From the Polls page you can also view and update your polls.

Placing a Poll onto a Page

To insert manually you must add a shorthand link to your field text or maxlet HTML. The format of the shorthand link you will need is shown below:

~pollembed_fill_pollname~

For example, if you have created a poll named "bestsongs" and you want people to be able to respond to the poll on one of your pages you would add the following to your field text or maxlet HTML:

~pollembed_fill_bestsongs~
