Page Types
There are three page types:
- Freeform Template
- Static Template
- Preformatted
Freeform Template:
Freeform Template pages are made up of a backdrop over which content objects are positioned. Objects can be positioned and resized directly on the Page Editor. Many preconstructed layouts are available for use as-is or as a starting point.
See Page Editor - Freeform Template for more information.
Static Template:
Static Template pages consist of a page layout described in HTML with the types and locations of content objects declared in that HTML. Many HTML layouts are available, and layouts can be further customized.
See Page Editor - Static Template for more information.
Preformatted:
Preformatted pages use a predefined layout. All content objects are placed inside of Page Fields (themselves content objects). The locations of Page Fields on the page cannot be altered, although there are various arrangements from which to choose.
See Page Editor - Preformatted for more information.
