| Rave for Saturday, May 26: Thank you for being a savior from the right wing, Senator Jeffords! Rant for Sunday April 1: I hate April fools jokes. Rant for Sunday, March 18: Soverign Bank isn't nearly as good as they advertise! Slow service, needing indentification, and delayed processing are just some of the problems. Rant for Wednesday, February 28: John Street was naive last night by going to Washington. He should have been there for the city during Marti Gras problems. Rant for Sunday, February 18: When can we get on with the Clinton thing and watch Bush's bad policies? Again, the media isn't doing a good job. Rant for Sunday, January 21: Bush's speech must have been one of the most boring inauguration speeches ever. Rave for Sunday, January 21: Congratulations to the weather for giving Bush an appropriately nasty day yesterday. Rave for Monday, January 1: Go Eagles! I really believe they can win the Super Bowl! Rant for Tuesday, December 19: Bush cheated his way to the White House. At least he's steering clear of the right wing, though. Rant for Saturday, December 9: Those fascist punks in the U.S. Supreme Court are at it again! A sad day for America. Rant for Wednesday, November 22: Jeers to the Miami/Dade canvassing board for caving into Republican infantile behavior. I say appealing is warranted! Raves for Wednesday, November 22: Congrats to the Eagles, Flyers, and Eagles for becoming winning teams in a city that needs winners. The Supreme Court was fair and the Republicans are complete whiners and hypocrites. They really think the Florida Legislature would be unbiased? Rant for Saturday, November 18, 2000: Simple message: let the recounts continue!! Rant for August 25, 2000: Flyers should be wanting to sign their goalie, Brian Boucher! They just don't want to spend to go the extra mile. Which makes them even more frustrating than other Philadelphia teams (Phillies and Eagles), who just don't want to spend. Rave for August 25, 2000: Go Gore, who leads in the polls now! Now let's have the media bring out Bush's past, which makes Clinton look like a saint. Remember what they did with Clinton? Rant for August 7, 2000: The media seems too pro-Bush to begin with, but Fox News doesn't even try to hide their bias. Their slogan should be We Decide! Rave for August 7, 2000: Lieberman is a brilliant choice! And his differences with Gore are minor, certainly no more than Bush/Cheney differences. The choice puts inclusiveness into action instead of show. Rave for July 28, 2000: Bush's choice of Cheney was great for Democrats! He's even more right wing than Bush and has the stigma of oil interests. Also seems grumpy. Not the kind of person who can reach out. Rave for July 3, 2000: just watched the repeat of that PBS series Liberty! The American Revolution, and it is wonderful. I sat through 5 of the six shows, and would have seen the first show if I could. Makes you proud to be an American, and I take back my statement in my rant about moving to Canada. I'd have to ride it out in hopes of something better to come, and I'd make my voice known about us needing a Democratic President. Rant for June 22, 2000: Texas's system of justice stinks. I'm against the death penalty in all cases, but this case with Graham is one of those cases that is so flimsy that more thought should have been given. Their pardon board is a joke how they meet by fax and how they and Governor Bush disregard life. If Bush becomes president, which I doubt, I might consider moving to Canada. |
