-GameCube Overview- (Updated by Andy)

One word: GameCube. One word to describe it? It cant be done, because quailty, fun, sweet graphics, play controll, awsome music, and new features are all just some of the qualitys that the Nintendo GameCube has. Using the "Gekko" chip, that recieved a lot of hype back in 2000, GC will be able to produce "lighting effects," something its precedors could never acomplish. The "Gekko" chip also contains the ability to give objects in a game artificial intelligence, or AI. Using AI, creators expand gaming limits by miles. With AI, enemy's can react your very footstep, or in a puzzle game, could discover you are using the same strategy again and again, thus making the computer change the particualar level's appearence. Using the CD format for games, GC games will have ten times the memory of a N64 cartridge, thus giving developers a chance to create: more levels, more music, more characters, more everything. Need I say more?
So I guess the best way to describe GameCube in one word would be this: Extravagent.

-GameCube Biography- (Updated by Jonathon)

The Gamecube had skeptics at first and still does, because it was supposed to share many qualities with its early Nintendo 64, including the complexity of making games for it and most developers found it a challenge and did not bother. Additionally, in response to the demand for new types of entertainment from users in the game trade, the scale of games became larger, and frequently special adjustments to software had to be made. This came back to haunt the developers in the form of development costs and it would not be an exaggeration to say that it made software development more challenging. Nintendo created the gamecube with the purpose of realizing the highest level of performance and to enhance the productivity of software development. This is Nintendo's vision of what a next generation game machine should do. In order to acomplish this Nintendo had to painstakingly fix all of the kinks in the old N64 game system, the finished product was the Gamecube with high quality graphics and many exciting games!
