Both MICIO and Mike have expressed their admiration for the Sprague's "tubey and unstreamlined look" (how MICIO so aptly described it). I agree. It has that clinical look that stethophiles love. Mike mentioned in a private e-mail that the Spragues weren't around twenty years ago (that he knew of) so he got a Littmann lightweight ("Johnny Gage" model, I call them). I recall the first Sprague I ever saw and it connects with a very fond, but poignant memory. My pal Margie...
