NCO Tries Luck On 'Wheel Of Fortune'
WARREN, Mich., April 6, 1999 -- Millions of viewers have tuned in to play along at one time or another.
You know the deal -- chillin' in front of the TV, feet up, slippers on. Lounging in those beloved sweats of yours. Snacks and soft drinks strategically placed for easy access and rapid consumption. Solving a puzzle or two and marveling at the fabulous prizes. Shouting at the contestants (well, actually, the television set), because it's incredulous to you that they aren't asking for the correct letters and of course, you already know the solution to the puzzle.
Maybe you've even dreamed of giving that multicolored wheel a wicked whirl and saying, "I'd like to buy a vowel, Pat," to The Man -- Mr. Sajak -- himself.
For one soldier, this is hardly a dream. It's a dream that just came true.
