| WWF Sunday Night Heat - December 19, 1999. Taped from Tallahassee, Florida World Wrestling Federation European Championship Val Venis vs. Steve Blackman * In Venis' prematch mic spot, he says that he has a lot in common with Halley's Comet in that you can see them both coming from miles away, except Halley's Comet only comes every 76 years, and the Big Valbowski comes on command. Good one. Anyway, Venis gets the win thanks to some interference by Kurt Angle. Backstage, we see Mark Henry asking The Godfather if he can be his partner. GF is very hesitant, saying that he gave Henry a chance before and got betrayed. Henry says he's got things together now that he's got Mae Young. "Plays of the Week" recaps the week of Stephanie & Triple H chaos. Backstage we're again shown Mark Henry asking to be the Godfather's partner. GF hesitantly says yes. "Have a Terri Christmas" vignette Mideon & Gangrel vs. The Headbangers * During Mideon's entrance, we again see the orange and black logo on the Titan Tron screen (aka the Tazz tease). The 'Bangers get the win over the newly formed team of Gangrel and Mideon. New WWF journalist Jonathan Coachman interviews the Dudleys in the back, who more or less reveal that they'll be taking on the Godfather and Mark Henry. Mae Young is in the back drinking from her flask with the Godfather's hoes. She tells them not to show too much skin since it's a family show. D-Lo Brown vs. Taka Michinoku * D-Lo Brown by pinfall. Mae Young is still hanging out with the hoes backstage. She tells them to stay away from Mark Henry. Video footage is shown from the Armageddon match between Vince McMahon and Triple H. The Godfather & Mark Henry vs. The Dudley Boyz * During the match, Mae Young (who accompanied Mark Henry) attacked Buh Buh Ray Dudley and started hitting him with her whiskey flask, thus causing a disqualification loss for Henry and the Godfather. |
