The "hell" began on July 11, 2000. I took all 3 of my dogs, Worthless 21 years old, Pepper 4, and K.C. 2, to the Pampered Pet Groomers. All three were to be dipped and bathed. Worthless and K.C. were to be trimmed also. I picked them up 3 hours later and brought them home. When we got home, all of them just laid on the floor whining. I looked at Pepper's eyes and blood sacks were hanging from them! Worthless and K.C. couldn't even open their eyes. I rushed them to the vet. The vet told me that all 3 had gotten dip in their eyes and it had caused ulcers of the eyes. This is very, very painful! If I had left them untreated they all could have gone blind! Upon futher exam, Worhtless had a broken leg!
I have creams to put into their eyes. One is for pain one is for healing. I have to keep the house dark for at least 4 days. The light hurts their eyes. I have to carry Worthless in and out to potty...no steps for 2 weeks.
I called the groomer at Pampered Pet and he told me he put all 3 in the dip tub at the same time and they "might" have splashed each other. One thing you NEVER do is dip more than one dog at a time! He couldn't explain Worthless's broken leg. Now remember, Worhtless is over 20 years old! I have bathed her countless times and she does not struggle at all. She stands still and waits for it to be over.
I take them back to the vet Saturday to see if there is improvement. If Worthless is still blind and the bone is not healing...well, I will not let her suffer!
The groomer at Pampered Pet said he would pay for the vet bills. He did not mention the $71 that he charged me to hurt my dogs. I have contacted a lawyer. As of this date, August 28, 2000, he has NOT taken any steps to pay the bill.
Please spread the word if you live near the Hamilton/Fairfied, Ohio area. I don't want him hurting anyone else's animals. His shop is The Pampered Pet on Rt. 4, Fairfield, Ohio 45014.

August 31, 2000~
Last night we had to rush Worthless to the vet. She couldn't stand and was vomiting. She had a temp of 105 and was very sick. We had her put to sleep. She had never gotten her sight back and had a hard time walking. She would go outside in our fenced yard and get lost.
I feel like I have lost a big part of my life. Worthless will be truely missed.
"God Bless You, Worthless, and thank you for being my friend!"

THANK YOU!
