A unique Canadian community, Magrath, Alberta, widely known as "The Garden City". Magrath, lies just 30 miles north of the Canada-U.S. International Boundary in the prairie foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is situated along the major American north-south transportation corridor linking Alaska and Canada with the continental United States, only 45 minutes east of the World Famous Waterton/Glacier International Peace Park (the world's first International Park system), and just 20 minutes south of Alberta's third largest city, Lethbridge, Alberta.

Magrath is a small community (population approaching 2000) which stands above the rest. It is known for its natural beauty and for its outstanding quality of life. It is a place for both old and young. It is a community with and for children. Many families, and increasingly businesses, have established here in recent years. Magrath is a healing and a welcoming place; a place of the present, past and, most importantly, the future.

The Southern Alberta region, and particularly the Magrath area, offers an outstanding quality of life. The Magrath region is a growing retirement as well as a major recreation destination, and has one of the highest per capita ratios of golf courses and major ski resorts in North America. The area's family life, recreation, diverse economic development opportunities, as well as the quality of our air and water, vast mountain and foothill open spaces, mild climate, abundant wildlife and overall freedom, make this one of the world's premier living, working and recreational environments. Magrath, and Southern Alberta, is a great place to live and do business.
