| In the starting of the game it is said to be easiest when you start with Bulbasaur. It is easier with bulbasaur to beat the first three trainers. But it is harder to beat the elite four because Bulbasaur does not grow as fast. It is easier to beat the elite four when you start out with squirtle. But squirtle is not good against misty or Lt.Surge. You are actually better off with squirtle though because you can get a pikachu to use against misty and catch a diglett, dugtrio or a geodude against Lt.Surge. Starting with charmander is hardest though so if you are a beginner don't pick him. When you pick between a helix and dome fossil you should pick the dome fossil because that is kabuto and he evolves into kabutops. When you pick between a Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan you are better off with Hitmonchan because hitmonchan has Icepunch Thunderpunch and mega punch to use against the elite four. When you go to catch the legendary birds save your game before you you try, that way you can try as many times as you like. Against the elite four you should use Zapdos against Lorelei or another strong eletric pokemon. You should use Venusaur or Blastoise against onix in Bruno's line up or another strong grass or water pokemon. Use a psychic pokemon or flying pokemon against Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Machamp. Use a psychic or ground pokemon against Agatha. Use a ice pokemon against Lance and then fight your enemy. |
