I don't have many fears.
I'm not dying inside.
No major concerns
That keep me up at night.

I have a great boyfriend.
I'm getting straight A's.
Graduation is so soon!
I'm counting the days.

But there are times
When I want to cry.
She's 16 with a kid...
He and I was all a lie...

So many things in life
That I could let get to me
Though life can break my heart
I won't let that control me.

My biggest worry right now
Is the fact everything is okay.
God will bring a trial.
I know He will someday.

Whether it be soon
Or not for a long time,
I'll take a little pause,
Or even rewind

And remember right now
And how blessed I am today.
I'll remember God's healing
And know I'll be okay.
