| The quiet night consumes me. Darkness is all I see. There's nowhere I'd rather be. I sit and listen silently. Your words I so often miss, For it's very rare I do this. I'm quietly waiting in patience; Longing for words from Your lips. I can feel your warm embrace. Peace falls over this place. Remaining silent, I seek Your face. A moment none could replace. "Be still" I hear As You draw me near. Your Words so dear Make me tremble in fear. How amazing You are! Above all by far! I'm seeking Your heart. I long to be where You are. The quiet night consumes me. There's nowhere I'd rather be; Only sitting here silently With You beside me. |
