I am B/Sibling ISO my sib (gender unknown) born on May the 9th? of 1955 @ 6:00-9:00 am in Dade County Miami,FL. You were adopted in Queens County NY. Adoption was finalized there.According to information divuldged from HRS in 1985. However now upon writing recently to Josette Marquess at F.A.R.R. to request confirmation of sibs gender and the name of the Lawyers involved. Lo and behold they tell me VS "are unable to locate any records at all pertaining to the birth info I provided them with,the same info that I gave then in 1985.
A/Parents may be Jewish. Hospital of birth may be Jackson Memorial or North Miami General in Miami. However this is (unconfirmed). Attending Physican may have been Dr. Bernard Abel(also unconfirmed). Birth Mom saw him for prenatal check-ups. Because of the birthyear you could also be a "COLE BABY". Dr.Abel (Deceased in 1970) his office was located on 737 W.Flagler St. Miami.Also it is known that (HTH) Atty.Helen Tanos Hope did arrange private adoptions with Dr. Abel. Dr.Abel is said to have known the A/Parents as he was born and from NY. His wife "Miriam" I have been unable to locate?

In the fall of 1954 b/Mom age 16 drove with her mom from their home in Dedham,MA to Miami,FL upon referral from her local Dr. Lawrence Blank (confirmed)(also deceased). They stayed at the "BANGOR APT'S." at 220 N.W. 16th Ave. Miami.(unconfirmed). B/mom says the ride in labor to the Hosp. was short and Jackson Memorial is only 3 miles from these Apt's. Near the end of May 55 they returned to MA so B/Mom could finish and graduate High School.

Any Lawyers names are unknown.Maybe HTH or through Dr. Cole???? There was one from Miami he was blond who covered up the other signatures as he caught her "peeking" at them on the release papers she signed once in his office then again in the hospital the day after the birth (unconfirmed). His office is said to have been in Central Miami or Miami Center and was a very nice "fancy" office with lots of window's. She never received copies of anything.(unconfirmed). She remembers the names contained S's and the name Saul,Sal,Cole,Sole,Soul something to that effect. She did not stay in the regular Maternity section of the Hospital,postpartum. And recalls another woman in labor along side her older and married who kept her baby.

B/Mom was 16 yrs old. B/dad was 20. His name: Charles Nickerson. They were unmarried but did marry and had me then my brother who was later killed by a drunk driver he was 18 yrs old. It is in his memory that I dedicate my search & Picture Page to him Two more years my sister was born. Birth maternal grandmother is 94 years old. Her surname is Goodale.

Birth heritage is Scottish,German(Maternal),French Canadian,English,German,(Paternal). Religion is Protestant. Your birth name may have been infant baby girl or boy Frotten or Flynn (Frotten was B/moms surmaiden name then.) Flynn was her mothers married name and she may have used this as an alias as a way to nullify the adoption so she could find you later.

Also,there are significant life threatening inherited health problems such as heart,diabetes,thyroid,minieres disease that adoptee should be aware of.
