Jesus and Moses are setting off to play their weekly golf game when Jesus
asks if Moses would mind a third. Moses agrees, and an older man joins them.
Around the third hole, Moses tees off and slices hard towards the water trap.
Muttering, he turns to see Jesus smiling. Moses then looks at the
water, raises his hands chest high, palms together, and slowly separates
his hands. The water parts, leaving a strip of dry ground, and the ball
falls to the ground, bounces three times, and lands on the green, 2 ft from the
hole. Moses smiles, and steps back as Jesus line up to tee off.
Jesus slices just as poorly, mutters "Shoot!", and sees Moses smiling
out of the corner of his eye. Jesus turns back to the water, closes his
eyes, raises his hands chest high, palm facing down. As the ball falls to
the water, the surface shimmers, and the ball bounces off the surface
three times and then lands on the green, 2ft from the hole. He smiles at
Moses, and steps back to let the old man tee off.
The old man slices just as badly, and the ball heads straight for the water.
All of a sudden, a fish leaps out of the water and catches the ball in mid air.
As the fish falls back to the water, a bird swoops out of the sky and catches
the fish. The bird then arcs over the green and drops the fish. The fish lands
on the green, and the impact knocks the ball out of its mouth. The ball then
rolls gently into the cup for a hole in one. Moses turns and says ....
"Jesus, I hate playing with your Father!"
