Acts 5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and
laid them on beds and couches,, that at the least the shadow of
Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
How often have you wished you had that anointing? That those you came in
contact would be healed or ministered to as you passed by.
I am sure most of us at some time or other have looked up to Peter and
wished we could have experiences such as he had. I am here to tell you that
you can and you may.
I remember noticing a couple ladies in a Walmart store praying in the
check-out lane. One's shadow passed over the other. I have seen someone
comforting another, a shadow passed by. A dish of food given in a time of
need can be a shadow passing by. Sharing what you have is your shadow.
I see shadows on the internet. People's needs being prayed for, their
bodies being prayed for, encouragement being offered, concern, compassion
and caring. There is instruction in righteousness, lifting up,
encouragement, souls turned to Jesus, healing to their bodies, jobs for
those who need them, families being reunited, children brought to the Lord,
and after a trying day to go on the "net" and enter a PRAISE THE LORD
service is just what is needed before you retire at night.
I thank the Lord for the shadows that have come my way with a word, a
touch, a prayer, a gift, and most of all shared love. You have a shadow
and if you use it properly you can do exploits for Jesus the same way that
Peter did!
