Janice, A ROSE, from God
Janice, we never know how much time we have together.
We always enjoyed the times we spent
in each other's presence.
We loved, we giggled, we sang,,,
You tried so hard to get me singing properly.
Moke taught you well how to use your voice,
And you shared what you learned
with others who wanted to learn.
We made many trips together.
And Remember the one to Nashville.....
You auditioned for Star Search?
And we swung by Murray, Ky
to see your very little footprints in
the concrete porch of the parsonage there.
They built it after you were born and
I stuck you out of the window and
pressed your little feet into the concrete,
leaving impressions that will stay as long as the house.
We had Benji and Pete and then God blessed.
I was so glad to have a little girl.
You filled the void of the little boy, Paul,
the premiee, we lost the year before.
Then, 7 yrs later, Steve came along.
You have always made an "entrance" wherever you were.
You delayed the Christmas program for an hour
that snowy night of December 20th, 1963.
We were blessed to have you for 31 yrs and also,
your great husband and 3 wonderful children.
I loved the song you sang,
"Burdens Are Lifted Away".
You all went to Heaven the same day.
"Just Tell Them When You Saw me, I Was On My Way".
I know you are busy getting ready for the rest of us
when it is time for us to meet you all with our Saviour.
I remember that you sang this song at your grandpa's funeral
and it is a message from us to you also.
"Look For Me For I Will Be There, Too".
I love the Word of God and like to tell of all that His Son,
Jesus, has done for us.
His Word is True and can be depended upon,
but you must have it in your heart for it to be effective for you.
