Cheats and Hints 1.CODES FOR RAGING FIGHTER PLAYER VS PLAYER On the Title screen, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B. Then before the screen changes, push A or B to alter the color of your opponent's player. A will darken the color while B will keep the colors the same. The code will stay in effect until the power is turned off. 2.CODES FOR SHANGHAI SPECIAL MODES Begin a game and press Select to pull up the Options menu. Select "New Game" and push A. You can enter in three letters: ZAP - Adds a zapping sound effect to game. STF - Allows you to view the credits MAN - Makes fewer tiles for an easier game. REV - For a game where all the tiles are reversed. When you select a tile it turns over. You must remember where the tiles are to find matches. 3.CODES FOR SPANKYS QUEST STAGE SELECT For your password, enter "0 1 1 9," and the Stage Select screen will appear. Press Up or Down to choose the desired stage, then press Start to begin. SOUND TEST For your password, enter "0 1 1 7" and the Sound Test screen will appear. 4.CODES FOR SPUDS ADVENTURE STAGE SELECT For your password, enter "BANCHOU." The message "Map Select 000" will appear. Press Down to change the number. Press Start to begin in the desired area. 5.CODES FOR STAR TREK FREE WARP At any time during play, hold Select and press Left. This will let you warp once per stage without hitting a warp zone. 7.CODES FOR SUPER MARIO BROS. DELUXE PLAY AS LUIGI Bring up the map screen in Original 1985 Mode or Challenge Mode. Press Select to change Mario into Luigi. Press Select again to change back to Mario. PLAY AS LUIGI Bring up the map screen in Original 1985 Mode or Challenge Mode. Hit Select to turn mario into Luigi. Press the button again to switch him back. 8.CODES FOR SUPER MARIO LAND CONTINUE FOR EXPERTS For every 100,000 points you earn as you play, you'll be able to continue once after your game ends. For example, if you earn 300,000 points the first game, you'll be able to continue three times. If you then continue your game, and score another 100,000 points, you'll "earn back" the continue you used. You can build up a maximum of nine continues. STAGE SELECT FOR EXPERTS After you finish the game twice in a row, you may activate the stage select by pressing A. The more you press A, the higher the stage. Press Start to begin. EXPERT LEVEL After you finish the game once, press any button on the Title screen and the cursor will change from a mushroom to a Mario face. Press Start to begin the expert level. You can play through again having more enemies, harder enemies, and enemies in different places. 9.CODES FOR SUPER MARIO LAND 2 6 GOLDEN COINS EASY MODE On the Title screen, press Start to enter the pipe room. In this room, press Select to get into "Easy Mode." You can then begin any saved file you wish. PLAY THE DEMO When the Title screen appears, hold Up, Select and B (in that order). Continue to hold the buttons until the screen changes. After playing the demo for about 60 seconds, however, the game will freeze up and you'll need to reset. 10.CODES FOR TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES FALL OF THE FOOT CLAN LIFE POWER UP When your life runs low, pause the game and press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A and Start. PRACTICE THE BONUS GAMES On the Title screen, simultaneously press and hold A, B and Select, then press Start. A question mark will appear to the right of the "5" on the Stage Select screen. Select this question mark to practice the bonus games. 11.CODES FOR TERMINATOR 2 JUDGMENT DAY SLOW DOWN TIME In stage three of this game, you must rewire circuit boards within 50 seconds. You can hold Select to slow the timer down. 12.CODES FOR TETRIS HIGHER LEVELS Hold Down and press Start until the option screens appear. Select the A Game or B Game. A heart will appear next to the level number. This indicates that the actual stage you will start at is the selected stage plus 10. 13.CODES FOR TETRIS BLAST FIGHT 2 MODE On the Title screen, press B five times, then press Start. 14.CODES FOR TETRIS DX DEFY GRAVITY If you guide a block to the left wall, keep holding Left on the Control Pad, then rapidly tap the A Button. If you guide the block into the right wall, rapidly tap the B Button instead. 15.CODES FOR TINY TOON ADVENTURES PRACTICE BONUS GAMES To practice bonus games before jumping into the action, hold Down and the B Button and press Start at the main menu. 16.CODES FOR TUROK 2: SEEDS OF EVIL BIRD MODE Reposition Turok anywhere you want in an area. Enter DLVTRKBBRD as your password, then press A, B and Select simultaneously to activate or deactivate Bird Mode during game play. LEVEL SKIP Enter DLVTRKBLVL as your password, then press A, B and Select simultaneously while playing a game. The Level Select option will then appear. Scroll left or right to select the area you want to visit. INFINITE AMMO Enter DLVTRKBWPS as your password. This code will provide infinite ammo for each weapon you find. INFINITE LIVES Enter DLVTRKBNRG as your password. INFINITE LIVES Enter DLVTRKBLVS as your password. 17.CODES FOR TURRICAN INVINCIBILITY On the Menu screen, press ABB ABA ABA ABA A. The word Start on the screen will change to Cheat. LEVEL SKIP After entering in the Invincibility code, start your game. While playing, hold Select and press Start. You will immediately warp to the beginning of the next stage. 18.CODES FOR WARIO BLAST SPECIAL PASSWORDS Password Result 6565 Play a special battle mode with Wario 5656 Same as 6565, but allows player to use Bomberman as the main character. 2264 Start game with a powered-up Wario. 4622 Start game with a powered-up Bomberman. 19.CODES FOR WARIO LAND: SUPER MARIO LAND 3 SUPER CHEAT Start the game, enter any area and press Start to pause. Press Select 16 times to make a cursor appear on your number of lives. Then simultaneously hold A and B, and move the cursor box left or right. When you get the cursor over a number you wish to change, press Up or Down. If you put the cursor on the Wario face at the bottom left and un-pause, you'll get a better hat. 20.CODES FOR WARIOLAND II INSTANT RESET If you're stuck or just want to reset, press Select, Start, A and B all at the same time. You'll have to start over from your last save point, but you won't lose coins or items. 21.CODES FOR WIZARDS AND WARRIORS X FORTRESS OF FEAR 6 EXTRA PLAYERS Play one game. When the game is over and you are asked to enter your initials into the High Score screen, enter the letter W, a Heart, then the letter W. Press Start to begin a new game with six lives. 22.CODES FOR WORLD HEROES 2 JET SCORCHER MODE When the Takara code appears press Right, Left, A, B, Down, A, B and Up. If you have input the code correctly, you will hear a "clink" sound. The Scorcher mode allows you to blast your opponents with your charater's Super Attacks at any time, use Zeus as a character, and allows you select fighting styles (like in versus mode) in Training and Tournament modes. JET MODE When the title World Heroes Jet 2 appears on the screen press Up, Up, Select, A, Down, Down Select and B. If you have done it correctly you'll hear a "boom." This mode allows your character to move twice as fast as normal. 23.CODES FOR YOSHIS COOKIE EXTRA LEVELS Set the music to off, the speed to high, and the round to 10. Hold Up and press Select. The round should read "11." Continue to advance to higher levels by pressing the Select button. |
