Cheats and Hints 1.CODES FOR OFF ROAD CHALLENGE HIDDEN VEHICLES On the Vehicle Select screen, press the following buttons to display some hidden vehicles: Right-C The Crusher Up-C Toyota 4x4 Monster Left-C Thunder Bolt Down-C The Punisher FLAGSTAFF TRACK On the Track Select screen, hold L and hit Left on the Control Pad to hear a ratchet sound. Highlight the Mojave course, hold the Z Button and press A. GUADALUPE TRACK On the Track Select screen, hold R and hit Down on the Control Pad to hear a ratchet sound. Highlight the Vegas course, hold the Z Button and press A. EL CAJON TRACK On the Track Select screen, hold L and R and hit Up on the Control Pad to hear a ratchet sound. Highlight the El Paso course, hold the Z Button and press A. 2.CODES FOR OLYMPIC HOCKEY 98 MORPHING PLAYERS If you want your players to take on truly Olympian proportions, then try this. On the Options screen, hold bottom C and press R to make a message appear at the bottom of the screen. To change your players' head size, hold bottom C and press R. Repeat this code to select a different size. To change your players' body size, hold left C and press R. Repeat this code to change your players' height. To make the announcer's voice deeper, hold top C and press R. Repeat the code to change him from a bass to a tenor. 3.CODES FOR PILOTWINGS 64 FREE FUEL TRICK Do you want unlimited fuel for free? Well, there's a gas station in the Little States where you can get unlimited fuel, for free. To find it, locate the gas station at a road junction in the southeast, between the space shuttle launch pad in Florida and the Mississippi river (Georgia). Just land in the parking lot, between the sign and the building, then cross or touch the center line. Your fuel tank will be topped off automatically. If you're flying the Gyrocopter, be sure not to come to a complete stop or the stage will end. This trick works in any of the Little States stages. 4.CODES FOR QUAKE 64 DEBUG MODE On the Password entry screen, enter the letter "Q" in every space (16 total). After entering the last letter, the message "Invalid Password" will appear. Press the B Button to back out one screen to the Title screen, then enter Options to find the Debug mode option at the top. Debug Mode options: Start Map: Choose any Level from 1 through 25. God Mode: You can be invincible. Default is Off. Weapons: Gives you all the weapons in the game. Default is Off. Target: Turn it off so enemies will not see you. Default is On. 5.CODES FOR QUAKE II COOL COLORS Select Single on the Mode screen, then Load on the Game Start screen. When you're asked, "Create game note on Controller Pak?" select "Do not use," then enter S3TCOOLCOLORS??? An alternate color palette will appear in the game. INFINITE SHOTS Select Single on the Mode screen, then Load on the Game Start screen. When you're asked, "Create game note on Controller Pak?" select "Do not use," then enter S3T1NF1N1T3SHOTS. You'll have unlimited ammo in mutiplayer mode. 6.CODES FOR RAMPAGE WORLD TOUR CITY SELECT On the Main Menu or Character Select screen, hold the L Button and all four C Buttons until you hear a tone. Begin a game and go to the screen that shows the city and the day. With either the Control Pad or Control Stick, press Up or Down to select a country, and Left or Right to select a city. BAD FOOD, GOOD FOOD When a World Tour is over and the name of an American city appears on screen, hold Down and, if you're George, press Jump three times; if you're Lizzy, punch three times, or if you're Ralph, Kick three times. This will change bad food to good food during the next stage. LEVEL SKIP If you're about to enter Cleveland, Fargo, Oklahoma City or Reno, and you're George, press Jump, Punch and Kick; if you're Lizzy, press Punch, Kick and Jump; if you're Ralph, press Kick, Jump and Punch. You must enter the code before the name of the city fades and the stage begins! If done correctly, you'll skip anywhere from seven to ten days ahead. BAD FOOD BEGONE If you're about to enter Casablanca, Kiev, Kodak, London, Moab, Nashville, Rio de Janeiro or Washington D.C., press Jump if you're George; Punch if you're Lizzy, or Kick if you're Ralph. If you press the correct button before the city name fades, all the bad food in the city will disappear. HIDDEN STAGE WARP If you're about to enter Atlanta, Louisville, Fairbanks, San Diego or Phoenix, you can warp to a hidden stage instead. When the city name appears, press Jump three times if you are George, Punch three times if you're Lizzy or Kick three times if you're Ralph. You can warp from Atlanta to Suburbia, from Louisville to the Warehouse, from Fairbanks to the Underworld, from San Diego to Caleb's City and from Phoenix to Area 69. 7.CODES FOR RAMPAGE: UNIVERSAL TOUR THIS CODE ENABLE BIG AL, A PURPLE ALIEN CYCLOPS. on the password screen, enter B1G4L GREEN CYCLOPS To be a green Cyclops alien, use the password N0T3T. The o is a zero. Ralph:LVPVS Lizzie:S4VRS George:SM14N 8.CODES FOR RE-VOLT UNLOCK ALL CARS AND TRACKS On any menu screen (with the exception of the Main Menu), tap the following buttons: B, A, Z, Z, B, L, A, then Top C to unlock all of the cars/tracks. If you have entered the code correctly, all of the cars and tracks will be immediately available. Also, you can access the Mirrored or Reversed courses by highlighting a track, then pressing Up/Down on the Control Stick/Pad. 9.CODES FOR ROBOTRON 64 110 EXTRA LIVES To start a new game on the Easy difficulty level with 110 extra lives, enter BSBBBBTJBB as your password. If you're more daring, enter BCBBLBTJBB as your bassword to begin on the Normal difficulty setting. To challenge the Insane difficulty level, enter BFBBBCTJBB as your password. 50 LIVES On the Setup screen, on the Control Pad press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left C, Right C, Left C, Right C. Exit the screen and start a game as normal to begin with 50 men. STAGE SELECT On the Setup screen, on the Control Pad press Down, Up, Left C, Down, Left C, Right C, Down, Right C. A stage select option will appear in the middle of the menu. Use the Control Pad to select an area, exit the screen and start a game as normal to warp to the selected stage. POWER UPS During Play, press the following buttons on the Control Pad for the ability of your choice: Shield: Down, Left, Left C, Right C Flame Thrower: Down, Right, Down, Right, Right C Speed Up: Left, Left, Right, Right, Up C Gas Gun: Up, Down, Right C, Left C Two-way Shot: Up, Up C, Up, Up C Three-Way Shot: Right, Right, Left C, Down C Four-Way Shot: Down, Down, Up, Right C GAME BOY MODE On the Setup screen, on the Control Pad press Up, Down, Right, Left C, Down, Up, Left, Right C, Up, Down. All of the graphics will switch to outlines. AUTO PLAY (DEMO MODE) On the Setup screen, on the Control Pad repeat the following sequence three times: Left, Right, Up, Down, Left C, Right C, Left C, Right C. The game will begin a self-running demo. 10.CODES FOR RUSH 2: EXTREME RACING USA ACCESS THE CHEAT MENU On the Setup screen, hold L, R and Z, and press all four C buttons simultaneously until the Cheat Option appears. Now access the menu, highlight one of the following cheats, then follow the code sequence shown to activate it. You can activate some, but not all of the other cheats by using the menu code: while holding L, R and Z, press all the C buttons repeatedly. AUTO ABORT Quickly press Up C four times. This turns off the function that automatically moves your car back to the track when your car stops. BRAKES Press the Z, L, R, Up-C, and Right-C Buttons 3 times. This allows you to turn off the brakes. BURNING WRECK Press the Z, L, R, Up-C, and Right-C Buttons 4 times. CAR COLLISIONS Press the Z, L, R, and all 4 C Buttons 6-7 times. All cars will pass through each other instead of colliding. CAR MINES Press the Z, L, R, and all 4 C Buttons 6-7 times. CONE MINES Press L, R, L, R, L, and R. This turns all traffic cones into spiked mines. DAMAGE Press L, R, then Down-C rapidly until the highlight appears. Your car will be immune from dents and scrapes. It will still blow up, however. DO THE DEW Press the Z, L, R, and all 4 C Buttons 6-7 times. All Keys become Mountain Dew Soda Cans. Items found retain all the same statistics. FOG COLOR Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. FRAME SCALE Hold the Z Button and Down C and press Up C, then hold the Z Button and Up C and press Down C. This makes your car appear flat or tall. GAME TIMER Hold the Z Button and Down C and press Up C. Then, hold the Z button and Up C and press Down C. This removes the game timer completely from the racing screen. GRAVITY Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. INSIDE-OUT CAR Press the Z, L, R, and all 4 C Buttons 7-8 times. INVINCIBLE Press the Z, L, R, and all 4 C Buttons 6-7 times. You will be impervious to damage unless you flip over. INVISIBLE CAR Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. Makes all cars invisible. INVISIBLE TRACK Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. Makes the track completely invisible. INVISIBLE TRACK Hold the L and R Buttons and press the Z Button four times. Makes the rats in the Subway huge and explosive. LEVITATION Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. MASS Hold the L and R Buttons and press Up C, Down C, Left C, Right C. Makes your car heavy. NEW YORK CABS Press R, L, Z, Up C, Down C, Up C. All your opponents will be cabs. RESURRECT IN PLACE Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. The car will recover in the same spot it crashes. STUNTS Hold down all four C Buttons, then press R, A, Z, and L. Allows players to gain points for stunts in any track. SUICIDE MODE Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. Makes your car or an opponent's car explode when it comes in contact with any other car. SUPER SPEED Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. Pumps your speed up close to 200 mph. SUPER TIRES Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. TIRE SCALING Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3-4 times. TRACK ORIENTATION Hold down the Z, L, and R Buttons, then press all four C Buttons 3 to 4 times. 11.CODES FOR S.C.A.R.S. COBRA CAR TRTTLL SCORPION CAR SDSSRT 12.CODES FOR SAN FRANCISCO RUSH ALCATRAZ TRACK 1. Complete a Circuit Mode and receive an ending (with the F1 car). 2. Enter the "One Race" mode and go to the Car Select screen. 3. Hold Left C and press the Z Button. Release both buttons and press Left on the Control Pad/Stick. 4. Back out (press B several times) to the Main Menu and enter the Setup screen. 5. Hold Up C and press the Z Button. Release both buttons and press Up. 6. Back out to the Main Menu, then re-enter the "One Race" mode and go to the Track Select screen. 7. Hold Right C and press the Z Button. Release both buttons and press Right. 8. Choose a track and enter the Car Select screen and hold Down C and press the Z Button. Release both buttons and press Down, L, R. 9. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a trumpeting noise. 10. Back up one screen to the Track Select screen and scroll through the tracks to see the island of Alcatraz. Note: Once the code has been entered, the track can be used in any mode. Alternate method using a Password This can be used by players who haven't completed a Circuit 1. Go to the Circuit Mode and select "Just Play". Highlight "Enter Code" and press the A Button. Enter the following code: 8DP5KG5L4G59P G92WVCQY0DRDQ 2. After entering the code, select "Continue Circuit" and enter the race. Allow the timer to expire. 3. After viewing the credits, press Start to return to the Main Menu. Complete steps 2-10 of the Alcatraz Track code normally. TAG MODE Allows players to play a special game of tag. How to Enter: Hit the abort button during the countdown sequence at the start of a 2-player practice game. The timer will be set to 5 minutes. When you're IT, your timer is running. IT must tag the other player to stop his timer and make the other player IT. The newly-IT player will resurrect in place, causing a delay and giving the former IT time to escape. Player 2 is always IT first. When time runs out, "Game Over" shows until someone presses Start. TURN CAR INTO MINE Replaces the car in the viewing window with an orange mine. This is only for viewing purposes, and the car will not appear as a mine during the actual race. How to Enter: On the Car Select screen, press Right C, Right C, Z, Down C, Up C, Z, Left C, Left C. Perform the code again to view the cars normally. UPSIDE DOWN MODE Flips the courses upside-down. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left on the Control Pad/Stick. A small pair of arrows will appear at the bottom of the screen if the code is entered correctly. Enter the code again to disable this option. RANDOM HIGH SCORE NAMES Any unused entries in the list which would normally be filled with the default names and scores will cycle randomly. How to Enter: When viewing the Fast Times or Best Laps information from the Records screen, press L, R, L, R, L, R, L, R. DISABLE CAR-TO-CAR COLLISIONS This turns on and off car collisons, allowing your car to pass through other cars without taking damage. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press Left then hold Right then press Right C and release both buttons, then press Up C, Left C, Down C, Z Button. A bus icon will appear along the bottom of the screen if entered correctly. Repeat the code to turn this option off. SPECIAL CAR IN CIRCUIT MODE Allows players to use a special car during the circuit races. How to Enter: Win a Circuit in 1st place on the Medium difficulty. From then on, if you are using the same player, you can Press Z, Z, Z, Z on the Track Select screen to enable the special car, the F1. FOGGY NIGHT Entering this code changes the sky and fog to night-time colors. How to Enter: On the Options screen, highlight "Fog" and hold all four C Buttons while pressing Left/Right on the Control Pad/Stick. An extra option will be available called "Foggy Night." FRONT TIRE SIZE This code allows the player to change between small, normal, and large front tire sizes. How to Enter: On the Car Select Screen press and hold Left C then Right C. Release both buttons. Press and hold Right C then Left C, then release both buttons to activate the code. Changes will be displayed in the viewing window. Repeat the code to switch between the different sizes. INFINITE TIME This code disables the time clock. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, hold the Z Button, then press and hold Down C then Up C. Continue to hold the Z Button, and release the C Buttons. Press and hold Up C then Down C to activate the code. A small clock with line through it will appear if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to deactivate this option. MIRROR CONTROLS This changes all controls so left is right and vice versa. How to Enter: On the Options screen, highlight "Mirror" and hold all four C Buttons. Press Left/Right on the Control Pad/Stick to view an extra option called "Extreme." RESURRECT IN PLACE This will attempt to place the car at the same spot as where the car was destroyed. It will make one attempt to place the car in the same spot but if it cannot, it will then will move the car back onto the track.How to Enter: On the Setup screen, hold the Z Button, then press and hold Left C then Right C. Continue to hold the Z Button, and release the C Buttons. Press and hold Right C then Left C to activate the code. A small "R" with line through it will appear if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to deactivate this option. DISABLE AUTO ABORT This disables the auto abort in San Francisco Rush. Normally, if a car stops for a period of time (i.e. stuck on a wall), the game will automatically move the car back to the course. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press Up C, Up C, Up C, Up C. A small icon with "00.06" will appear along the bottom of the screen if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to turn this option off. BACK TIRE SIZE This will switch between small, medium, and large back tires. How to Enter: On the Car Select screen, press and hold Right C then Left C and release both buttons. Then press and hold Left C then Right C to activate the code. The car in the viewing window will reflect the changes. Use the code repeatedly to change between the different tire sizes. BURNING CAR REPLAY This displays a replay of the race, but your car is displayed as a burnt-out hulk. How to Enter: As you cross the finish line, crash your car. After "Game Over" starts flashing, and before it has stopped flashing, hold down the L, R and Z Buttons until the post-game high score display demo begins. Your car will still be crashed and burning, but will be driving around the track is if nothing was wrong. CAR SIZE This changes your car between small, regular, and large sizes. How to Enter: On the Car Select Screen press and hold Down C then Up C and release both buttons. Then press and hold Up C then Down C and release both buttons to activate the code. The car in the viewing window will reflect the changes. Repeat the code to switch to the next size. CHANGE FOG COLOR This changes the color of the fog between several different colors. How to Enter: On the Car Select Screen hold the Z Button and press Down C, Down C, Down C. The color of the fog in the viewing window will change. CHANGE GRAVITY Changes the game gravity to increase or decrease the weight of the car. How to Enter: On the Setup screen hold the Z Button and press Up, Down on the Control Pad/Stick. Release the Z Button and press Up, Down, Up, Down. The symbol of a weight will appear along the top of the screen. Repeat the code to switch between several gravity options. CHANGE TRACK TEXTURES Switches between normal, no textures, or rainbow textures. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press and hold Right C then press the L Button. Release both buttons, then press the Z Button. Press and hold Right C then press the L Button and release both buttons. Press the Z Button again to activate the code. If the code is entered correctly, a small checkered pattern will appear along the bottom of the screen. Repeat the code to switch between the different textures. CHANGE VIEWING DISTANCE This will allow players to change the camera viewing distance and height when viewing the car from behind.. How to Enter: During a race, hold the View (L Button) and press Up or Down on the Control Pad/Stick to change the camera distance. CONES TO MINES This turns all of the road cones into land mines. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press L,R,L,R,L,R. A small road cone symbol will appear if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to turn this option off. DRIVE A BURNT OUT HULK On the car select screen, hold up C and press Z, Z, Z, Z. Repeat the code to switch between smoking hulk, burt-out hulk, or normal hulk. |
