The Power Plant
I did not know when to talk about the Power Plant because it does not play a part in the game unless you are after all 150 Pokemon. Hidden south of the Rock Tunnel is the Power Plant. Although it is south of the Rock Tunnel you need to go north of the Rock Tunnel to get there. North of the Rock Tunnel is some water that you can surf on. Bring a surfing Pokemon here and follow the waterway until you reach the Power Plant. Outside of the Power Plant is an individual Trainer. Inside the Power Plant be sure to collect the Carbos, TM33, TM25, Rare Candy, and HP UP. There are enemy Voltorbs and Electrodes that appear as item capsules in the Power Plant. You want to capture a Electabuzz(red version), a Magnemite, and a Zapdos. The Zapdos is another one of those birds that you can see and can only fight once. Bring high level rock Pokemon and a Pokemon that will put the Zapdos to sleep. The Zapdos is the second legendary bird Pokemon. The Articuno is the first and the Moltres is the last one. Once you have caught all of the Pokemon, and got all of the items, you may leave.

Victory Road
This the last chance that you will have to fight normal creatures or trainer before you beat the game. After passing through all of the badge checkpoints you can enter the cave known as Victory Road. Victory Road requires a lot of boulder moving, so be sure to bring a strong Pokemon that has the "Strength" ability. Many boulders need to be moved out of the way, while other bolders need to be pushed on buttons. Somewhere in the cave you will find a Moltres. Treat this legendary bird Pokemon like you have the other two. There are a lot of items to collect in Victory Road. The first floor has 1540, 1470, a TM43, and a Rare Candy. The second floor has 1075, a TM05, 1435, 1760, a Full Heal, a TM17, and 1680 in one part and 2000, and a Guard Spec in the other part. The third floor has 1505, a Max Revive, TM47, 1505, 1505, and 1505. That is it for Victory Road. It is not that bad of an idea to gain some levels here though. There are no Pokemon that you should capture here. If for some reason you do not already have the Pokemon that you fight here you can catch one, but everything that you fight here upgrades around lvl. 20.
