KoRn is a band that has made history ever since the begining. KORn there self titled album and Life Is peachy album (2nd) already have gone platinum. Follow the LeadeR has been doing great and there new album is coming out november 17th. KoRn's success has to be their closeness. Korn has always stayed close with there fans and have stayed close together. But it hasn't always been "Peachy" for KoRn. With almost a fear of break up because of issues between JOnathan and Fieldy. But KoRn has been able to get through it. There record label Immortal/epic has stood by them the whole way and that has helped KoRn. KoRn also go far back. KoRn's Fieldy and David had a band called LAPD during highschool but once there lead singer left they had to give up on the band as well. They then formed a band called "Creep" in where Munky and Head joined. Once Munky caught and act of Jonathan Davis in his band named "Sex Art" Munky seeing his amazing voice and ability to get the crowd going. Munky knew at the moment that he needed Davis for Creep. Ironically enough, "Sex Art" also conatined Ryan Shuck and Jay Gordon from the band now called ORGY and KoRn and ORGY have been friends ever since and even went on the popular Family Values Tour together. Once Davis joined Creep the name changed to KoRn and that is when things started to get real. Once Imotal/epic caught KoRn's show they signed them up right away. KoRn's first album "self titled" was a huge hit. Witht the first single off of it "Blind" and the ever so loved "Shoots and Ladders" Korn was becoming a humongous band in the US being one of the first really Harcore Heavy Metal bands to make it. There second album "Life is Peachy" was a grammy nominee and had such great songs as "Twist" and "ADIDAS" and "Good God". After "Life is Peachy" KoRn continued to write songs. They never wanted to be like bands that take years until they came out with a new album because they never wanted to dissapoint their fans. Then in '98 came KoRn's new album "Follow the LeadeR" Now follow the leader was a magnificant album. KoRn had already taken on their first son a band from Jacksonville name "Limp Bizkit" Follow the LeadeR had great singles like "Freak on a Leash" "got the life" "Justin" "Seed" "Children of the KoRn Featuring ICE CUBE" and "All in the Family" featuring the lead singer from Limp Bizkit Fred Durst. KoRn had become a BIG band in the US and in the UK!! Featured at the '99 Woodstock. And also headliners for the famous Family Values Tour! Featurinf Great bands like "Rammstien" "ORGY" "Limp Bizkit" and of course KoRn. KoRn is now working on there new album due out on November 17th. And are leaving the headlining to the Family Valeus Tour to Limp Bizkit. KoRn has also just recently won an MTV Video Music award for best Rock Video for "Freak on a Leash" KoRn is a great band and will continue there greatness. And I am sure we will see great things from them in the new Millenium!
