Welcome to Issue #15 Tuning Inward with Discernment.
Issue #13 Tuning Inward begins an inquiry into vibrational frequencies from deep within. It focuses on the importance of the balance of our individual and collective attention on the subtle aspects of life, on the internal aspects of life, and on the external aspects of life. We live in a world that encourages us to direct our attention outside ourselves ... to the external aspects of life. Many of us have done this almost exclusively which has tended to result in much suffering. LIGHT TIMES supports us all in remembering the importance of tuning inward. Tuning inward leads to where relief is found. Tuning inward is a major solution.
Issue #14 Tuning Inward with Awareness expands on this. Adding in the element of awareness moves this inquiry up to the next level. Tuning inward with awareness moves us towards where a deep state of relief is found. It begins the process of answering the questions "Where am I?" and "Where have I gone?"
Issue #14 discusses abandonment. The most common form of abandonment is that from ourselves. This is the root of "Where am I?" and "Where have I gone?" Tuning inward with awareness leads us to our inner core, leads us back/forward to ourselves, helps us find ourselves.
Tuning inward with awareness increases clarity, discernment, and empowerment. Tuning inward with awareness reduces the feeling of living within a fog which can be characteristic of living an externally-focussed life. It restores clarity and calm to our minds, bodies, emotions, and souls, thereby creating a feeling of lightness. It is as if we have been relieved of a burden. It is as if we have become free. It is as if we have come home.

Issue #14 also touches on the subject of empowerment. Empowerment is when we reclaim the sense of our inner core. This is where our personal power is located. Actually, power is an inside job. This is because it is our birthright. We are born with all the power we will ever need in our lives. All we ever have to do is remember this and then focus on it ... this inherent personal power. As we do this, we get clearer on who we are, why we are here, what we are here to do, and how to do it.
Issue #14 touches on the subject of discernment too. Discernment is our inner radar. It is a particular type of judgment. It is our inner sense where we tune in with awareness for information. Discernment is our internal radar that assists us in detecting what is true from what is false, what is clear from what is unclear, what is respect from what is disrespect, and what is honoring from what is dishonoring. That is, what is light from what is dark. Much information can be gleaned this way. Discernment is of prime importance and cannot be overemphasized.

So ... tuning inward with awareness increases clarity, discernment, and empowerment ... and therefore guides us towards much information and back/forward to ourselves.
This issue #15, entitled Tuning Inward with Discernment, moves this inquiry forward. This is an inquiry into the path within our deepest selves guided by awareness and discermment. This path yields much information and much empowerment for us all.
Why is this so important?
This is so important because of our sense of personal space. When we think of our personal space, we often think of our house, our property, our car, our cell phone, etc. That is, our possessions. However, it is important to remember that these things are all external to us. Our personal space is not limited to what we consider to be our possessions.
Our sense of personal space may be bigger than we are used to thinking of it. It is true that our personal space includes our possessions. However, our personal space is not limited to what we consider to be our possessions. Our personal space is so much larger than this. Our inner sense is included in our personal space. Our inner sense is a very large part of our personal space. Our inner sense includes our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and our resonances. Our personal space also includes the vibrational frequencies that exist within and around us. It is vitally important for us to be aware of this. Not being aware of this is what creates the feelings behind the questions "Where am I?" and "Where have I gone?"

So ... it is very important for us to consider expanding our view of what our personal space is.
Our personal space is a very special aspect of ourselves. Our personal space is sacred. Its sacredness deserves to be remembered, respected, and honored by ourselves and by each other.
How do we do this?
This is a process. This process can begin with us practicing tuning inward. We begin this process from where we are with acceptance, gentleness, and kindness.

Next we can add in awareness ... that is, tuning inward with awareness. This is when we expand our awareness within and around our personal space. There is so much for us to notice about our personal space. There is so much for us to notice about ourselves, about each other, and about life.
We approach this process slowly ... with gentleness and care.
A next step is that we can add in practicing discernment ... that is, tuning inward with awareness that has the added element of discernment. This is when we practice using the element of our internal judgment, our internal radar. This is a delicate type of judgment.
So ... tuning inward with awareness and discernment brings forward much information and empowerment. It does this by greatly assisting us in sensing the vastness of our personal space and it provides much food for thought. Much information about vibrational frequencies is also available for us.
Noticing our emotions and thoughts and body sensations is one key way to get a clue about our vibrational frequencies. If we notice feeling significantly less than comfortable in our skins, less than content in our lives, and/or a predominance of negativity as our focus, we may find that we have been gifted information about our vibrational frequencies. We may choose to explore and see what this information has to tell us.
This is a journey. This is a journey of exploration ... a step by step journey.
This journey provides us with much hope. It is literally the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel. This is because if we notice that we feel significantly less than comfortable in our skins, less than content in our lives, and/or a predominance of negativity as our focus, we can become aware that much hope is available to us and that the path, the journey is a practical one.

So ... the more we practice tuning inward, tuning inward with awareness, and tuning inward with discernment, the more familiar we become with our inner core, with our isness, with our deeper/deepest selves, with our souls.

What we are hearing and not hearing,
