Hello. Welcome. This is a grant for a new nationwide series entitled "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows." The pilot for this series is available. It features Missoula's own SPONTANEOUS MUSIC BY CHILDREN! It is an honor for us that SPONTANEOUS MUSIC BY CHILDREN accepted our invitation to be featured on the pilot for this new nationwide series. SPONTANEOUS MUSIC BY CHILDREN is a monthly event where children and adults come together in the spirit of community to share music together. It is an awesome experience!

We at LIGHT Productions are currently seeking small, medium, and large grants from foundations, communities, and/or individuals. We are community-oriented people who are dedicated to making a difference. We appreciate the importance of community support for this project. Therefore, we am posting the details here for those who are interested in contributing to this effort. Please feel welcome to ask us for a full proposal.

"LIGHT Television" is a television show exclusively dedicated to the sharing, expansion, and support of LIGHT and LIGHTwork in practical ways for today's stressful world. "LIGHT Television" does this through the medium of television.

What is LIGHT?

LIGHT is a high frequency energy which EARTH experiences as particularly nurturing and nourishing. It is an energy that deeply loves and supports this planet we live on. It is therefore a wonderful solution for the world and its problems.

What is LIGHTwork?

LIGHTwork is the focusing of LIGHT. As a LIGHTworker, our intention and purpose is LIGHT for EARTH and for everyone and everything that lives here. As LIGHTworkers, we care very deeply for EARTH. Our dedication is demonstrated on a daily basis by taking care of EARTH in our own ways and by supporting others in their LIGHTwork. LIGHTwork will assist many people (especially children) who daily deal with many issues -- e.g. wars, famine, poverty, homelessness, sexism, racism, homophobia, alcoholism, drug abuse and addiction, domestic violence, and environmental degradation -- and who therefore feel spiritually unsupported in their everyday lives and work. All of these are serious problems and they show the need for LIGHT and LIGHTworkers! All people deserve to live in a LIGHT-filled world. "LIGHT Television" is the perfect medium for sharing LIGHTwork globally to foster a LIGHT-filled world.

What is our LIGHT vision?

For this grant, we envision creating ten (10) public access "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows." "LIGHT Television" will identify people who are making a major difference and creating hope for EARTH on EARTH for the Highest Good of All on community access television stations all over the United States. These children and adults and their groups will be featured on a new series -- the "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows" from various locations throughout the United States. The purpose of "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows" is threefold. One purpose is seeking out and sharing more and more examples of LIGHT and LIGHTwork with the Larger LIGHT Community offering people hope while helping us all to link up together. The second purpose is bringing the adults and children together to foster LIGHT in creating a vision around their LIGHTwork and then filming, editing, and sharing with their larger local communities, their LIGHT. The third purpose is assisting LIGHT-oriented people and groups who are making a major difference for the Highest Good of All in being seen by a larger audience. By finding, choosing, and filming these "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows" for cable access television, "LIGHT Television" will provide exposure throughout the United States to groups and individuals whose LIGHTwork exemplifies movement towards the Highest Good of All.

To date, we have produced and created seven (7) "LIGHT Television" shows as well as the pilot for this new program the "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows" (a training ground for these next ten shows). All of these shows were created using community access equipment and facilities. In early December 1998 I, Nan Cohen, had no prior experience with television studio and editing equipment. I learned the basics and then added on to those basics. In Winter 1999, we created the first "LIGHT Television" show. During 2000 and 2001 I have honed my previous skills, as well as learned more advanced techniques and equipment -- while we were producing and creating "LIGHT Television #2, #3, and #4." In January 2002 we created "LIGHT Television #5" and the pilot for the "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows." This year, 2003, we have produced and created "LIGHT Television #6 and #7."I've gained valuable experience and skills. We are Rick Gold and Nan Cohen and we are ready to expand "LIGHT Television" throughout the country to make it available to community access television stations in all 50 states. We will require LIGHT support to bring "LIGHT Television" and the "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows" forward.

Rick Gold is the Program Director of the "LIGHT Television" series. He has 8 years experience creating video productions. Rick has been an independent producer creating programming for Missoula Community Access Television (MCAT) during the last 5 years.

We completed the Pilot Show for this new series "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows" in January 2002. The pilot show features SPONTANEOUS MUSIC BY CHILDREN. SPONTANEOUS MUSIC BY CHILDREN honored us by accepting our invitation to be on "LIGHT Television KIDS Shows." SPONTANEOUS MUSIC BY CHILDREN is a monthly gathering of children and adults in Missoula, Montana. They offer the community the opportunity to play music together in an informal setting which is open to everyone regardless of experience.
