| You used to be nice to me I didnt know what to think. I never did. I didn't understand you Don't think I ever will. How could I? I don't know who you are. I think maybe I loved you once but I can't quite be sure. Because so soon you turned on me and used me as a toy. My heart bled and iced for you unlike any other boy. They say that you never forget. Is that true? Eh, who knows. Maybe it is. Maybe it's not. I'm leaning towards yes. But only because I'm finding that I haven't really. And I wonder why I can't. Its not that I don't want to, there are times I wish I had. The times you made me cry and that once when you said "I love you." I thought maybe now I could at least hate you Guess not. Because you've changed. I still don't know who you are. Does it matter? Should it? Do you know? Cause I don't. Will I ever? Do I need to? Who you are shouldn'nt matter to me. And it doesn't. It didn't. Until now. Why now? How? Have we both changed so much that I can feel what was? Is that possible? Maybe I haven't forgotten. Because I DID love you? And you were the first? Or because you were the best? Or the worst? Was it ever who you were or are? Was it what you looked like, your voice, how you smelled? Was it the way you knew exactly what I wanted or needed? I guess I'll never know. Not that I'm hoping to or that I want to. I just want you to know who you are. |
