We have finally come to the last lesson on merged pronouns.
It's on those in which the object is in the first person.
Without much ado, let's get on with it.
Study the table below:
1. mucu - (mo ako) You(sing.)-me Note: sing.= singular form; Pl. = plural form
2. yucu - (ninyo ako) You(pl.)-me
3. mucami - (mo kami) You(sing.)-us(2) Note: Hope you still remember what 1,2&3 mean.
4. yucami - (ninyo kami) You(pl.)-us(2)
5. nacu - (niya ako) He-me
6. dacu - (nila ako) They-me
7. dacata - (nila tayo) They-us(1)
8. dacami - (nila kami) They-us(2)
9. dacatamu - (nila tayo) They-us(3)
Now let's put them in sentences:
1. mucu - (mo ako) You(sing.)-me
a. Caluguran mucu. - (Minamahal mo ako) You(sing.) love me.
b. Iquit mucu. - (Nakita mo ako) You(sing.) saw me.
c. Penaya mucu. - (Hinintay mo ako) You(sing.) waited for me.
d. Licuan mucu. - (Iniwan mo ako) You(sing.) left me.

Okay, I think we have covered them all now. Now, try using in sentences
all the merged pronouns you have learned. Try constructing sentences
following the structure of the samples given in the lessons. Use the
pattern method coupled with the substitution method. Like what
I already said, make use of the vocabulary words found in the first page
of this website. Once you get the hang of it, you will realize how
easy it is to learn Kapampangan. Knowing which merged pronouns to use
is the key to success when it comes to sentence construction, as well
as to fluency.
