| Here are just some of the races you can be, their classifications, and what they can and cannot do. If you have any questions, you can use the E-mail link below, or you can E-mail me at Brynn15@gurlmail.com. Humans: What can a human do? What can a human be? Well, there are many things. A human can be a psychic, a witch, a voodoo priest, a sorcerer, or many other things. The one thing that almost all humans have in common, though, they're mortal, unless acted upon by an outside force. But once a human gets to be too powerful, they're no longer human, so watch what you do, unless you want your character to become a monster! Vampires: Ah, this is more like it...nothing like a vampire leaning over you at night, the sound of wind blowing through the trees...Wait a minute! Vamps, no matter how cute, are almost alway EVIL! There are exceptions, but it's in their nature! Oh, and who'd want to date someone that can't go out during the day? And you wouldn't be able to eat dinner with them, uh, uh, vamps can't eat! I'm sure there are some vamps that can have it like they do, but that's a special power! Not all vamps are old, and not all are powerful. We will consider different kinds of vamps, but we need some good explanations on why you want that kind! And no vamp can withstand the power of a cross backed up with faith! Don't want to be a total vamp? Try a damphir! They're the sons of vamps, but you could also be a girl! Or you could do the total Sonja Blue (a character written by Nancy Collins) thing, and be a vamp that's still alive! Wanna be a reverant? They're vamps that were raised after only one bite, by a very powerful vamp, they're animalistic and are like PCP adicts, they can't feel pain, but they also can't think past their next meal...Oh, and just to add this little tid-bit of info, to become a vamp you've got to be bitten three times AND share blood with the vamp...yep, it's complicated, but how else are we going to explain this worlds lack of the vampiric? Weres: hm...so many weres, so little space...Now, where should I start? I guess with lycanthropes, yep, those are the kind that become weres through a disease. You can get infected by a scratch or bite, but only when the were is in animal form. And when your a lycanthrope, your controlled by the moon. I wouldn't try going to any parties during the full moon, strong emotions can make you change, and if people find out your secret...well, let's just say they'll be a chance of rabbit overpopulation... Next is the garou, yes, I know, loup-garou is a voodoo term, but it's easier if we use garou for almost all voluntary werewolves, not just voodoo priest that want to go for a flight...Are you a witch? Do you have access to the skin of a now-dead were? Then you, too, can be a garou! You won't be ruled by the moon, your transformations will be completely under your control! Well, you will have to do some work, you'll always need to do a spell before hand... Hm, and last, but not least, there's the family guardians! What do these weres do? Well, they transform into an human/animal hybrid whenever their relations are in trouble! You get advanced healing factor, and immune system, but you're at the whim of Fate! Lamia, incubus, and sucumbus: Yep, we've got these guys, or, ah, and girls, too. Well, what are they? Lamia are from Greek myths, it was supposedly a woman that was turned into a monster for some reason or another (and, yes, it did involve Zeus! Of course, what Greek myth involving a woman hasn't?). They are beautiful women in human form, but can take on a form where the lower half of their bodies are the tails of snakes. They can have forked tongues, retractable fangs, and they can still seduce men (figures). Incubus is the male form of Sucumbus. Incubi seduce women, usually they look hott, and, can you guess what sucumbi do? Well, if you can't maybe you should go back to preschool...yep, they seduce men! There's so many different myths about them it's impossible to figure...some say that they are really ugly, and seduce the opposite sex by means of lots of powers...some say that they are very HOTT and could seduce the opposite sex just with their looks, but also have powers that work that way, too. Are they fey? Do they feed off of lust, or the life force of their victims, or whatever else you could think of? Who knows, but as long as it's almost believable, we'll probably let you be it! Deities: Ever dream of being a god? Well, now you can be...but on more realistic terms then you see in myths...What's Isis, the Egyptian goddess that raised her husband from the dead? Well, a necromancer, of course! How did Thor become Thunder God? He's a weather mage! It's oh-so simple, just put your head back on, it's rolled over this way, and you can figure it out! If you can't, well, there's always us! Necromancer: Are they not humans? Well, in my opinion, they're not, you could classify them, if you want, but I see them as a seperate race. I mean, how else do you explain a person that can control all types of dead? But bear in mind that not all necromancers are powerful enough to control anything more then zombies...Speaking of which: Zombies, ghosts, and other undead: Did you recently die? Do you want to come back, but for some reason or another can't be a vamp? Well, here's your ticket. You can get a necromancer to raise you as a zombie, and then go on a murderous rampage...um...er...Or you could have been betrayed by someone you trusted, or killed unjustly and want revenge! Come back as a ghost! Are you a voodoo priest? Then get a gris-gris, and with a small price, you can come back, almost good as new! Or do you want to be a banshee? Were you a faery in life? Or were you killed by one? That's usually how I classify banshees, but you could try your own luck at it, see what you can dig up. Being a banshee you'll call forth Death himself, but you can only do it on the people that are meant to die...no cheating...You can be dead, if you want, but remember to specify how you died, if you are already dead before you go into the game! Dragons and Faeries: Hm...What could you do with a dragon? Have it be a shapeshifter, or a mage, have it talk, be more intelligent then most people...Or at least most teachers...And Faeries, there isn't enough webspace in the US to talk about them all..there are so many...and it mainly depends on what you think of as a Faery, is it Mab, or a Tooth Fairy? But, being that 'Lesidhe' is the name of a rather nasty member of the Unseelie, well, we expect to see alot of different Fey. And as for the different kinds of dragons, there's the dragons from English/Welsh type legends, Oriental, and whatever else you can come up with. Some were seen as guardians for people, others as horrors. |
