| THE STOVALL'S INN LOCATED IN SOUTH LAKE TAHOE GETS A BIG "10" FROM THE LENOCI FAMILY! COMPLETELY REMODELED, THE INNKEEPER SAVED OUR FAMILY VACATION IN JULY, 1999. WE HAD BEEN STAYING AT THE "TRADWINDS RESORT" WHICH ADVERTIZED THAT IT WAS COMPLETELY REMODELED. BIG MISTAKE. THE ROOMS WERE NOT CLEAN, THEY QUOTED A PRICE ON THE PHONE AT THE TIME I MADE THE RESERVATION AND RAISED THE PRICE AT CHECK-IN, AND, THEY WERE TWICE THE PRICE OF SEVERAL OTHER MUCH NICER MOTELS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS. WE MOVED TO THE STOVALL'S INN (YES, IT SOUNDS FAMILIAR TO YOU DISNEYLAND VISITORS. THAT IS THE TAHOE OWNER'S FATHER). AT STOVALL'S WE WERE TREATED LIKE FAMILY - WE EVEN RECEIVED A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE BECAUSE OF OUR HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THE TRADEWINDS. WE ALSO RAN INTO SEVERAL OTHER FORMER PATRONS OF THE TRADEWINDS WHO MOVED OVER TO STOVALL'S. A FAMILY MEMBER OF OURS CANCELLED A RESERVATION TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE AT THE TRADEWINDS, AND THE TRADEWINDS KEPT A $20.00, DEPOSIT. TRY THE STOVALL'S INN - IT'S A GREAT STAY FOR A REASONABLE PRICE IN BEAUTIFUL SOUTH LAKE TAHOE! TELL THEM THE DAVE LENOCI FAMILY SENT YOU! |
Well, we sure learned a lot when it came time for senior graduation pictures! We went to Daniel Reynolds where we were sent by the school - NOT GOOD to say the least. For those of you who know Kimberly and her red hair, well Daniel Reynolds turned her hair orange in the pictures. After another horrible experience at Express Portraits in Pittsburg, we were referred to BARRO'S PHOTOGRAPHY in Pittsburg, right by the DMV. They are awesome. Very quick and totally know what they are doing! We highly recommend them. In addition to beautiful pictures, they are affordable. As all senior parents know, senior year costs a great deal.

Mike from Finesse made the Freedom High Senior Ball a safe and wonderful time for Kimberly and her friends! I would not hesitate to use them again. For many of you who know me, you know I am a nervous mom, and for some reason, the Senior Ball was scheduled for the Friday night of Memorial Day weekend - oh my gosh - no sleep for me!. We all know about the safety issues on the road that weekend, but sending the kids off with Mike in charge was very reassuring. |
