Welcome to La Ferriere's own tennis and sporting activities! Thanks to a newly refurbished all-weather tennis court, La Férrière is perfect for those who want to combine the superb wine and food of South West France with playing some fine tennis.  Professional Tennis Coaching With professional coaching available on site, we can help guests design a personal development plan to improve any aspects of their game without compromising coaching at home. Small tennis groups are very welcome and we offer special rates for LTA affiliated members who visit during the Spring and Autumn. Don’t forget we offer long week-end breaks for a great off-peak get-away. Other Sports Available With 3 pools on site, swimming is very popular with all our guests. After a couple of hours on the court, just dive in! There are bicycles available for use by our guests. As keen cyclists, we have designed routes from an hour up to a full day. For the less energetic, we have mapped out several walking tours and we can equip our guests with rucksacks and detailed maps to enjoy the French countryside on foot. Golfers will enjoy a beautiful 9-hole golf course 1 km away from us. Tennis in the morning and golf in the afternoon has been popular with many of our guests. Wet Weather Contingencies! Yes, we get occasional wet weather. Many guests use the time to enjoy the gourmet cuisine or go sight-seeing. However, we can recommend activities to be enjoyed whatever the weather. We are 40 minutes from a superb swimming complex with both 50m and 25m pools as well as water slides. There is also a water spa therapy area, jacuzzi and gym. An indoor ice-rink is on the same site. Also on site is our restaurant/wine bar, Le Flower. This is a fabulously appointed bar with live music and events held throughout the year. We also have dance classes during the summer season. All the family are well looked after, with a large children's play area, indoor table tennis and satellite TV and videos in every gite.
