| Here are some of our most frequently asked questions: 1. How far is it? Approximate distances from: * Angouleme - 28 miles (45 km) * Boulogne - 470 miles (750 km) * Bordeaux - 65 miles (105 km) * Brive - 95 miles (150 km) * Caen - 320 miles (510 km) * Calais - 490 miles (785 km) * Cherbourg - 390 miles (625 km) * Le Havre - 345 miles (550 km) * Toulouse - 165 miles (260 km) 2. What do we need to bring? Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. We aim to provide everything needed for a comfortable holiday, but should you have any particular requirements, please let us know in advance. 3. What if we arrive late? The gites are available from 4.00 pm local time. If for any reason you will not arrive until after 8.00 pm, please let us know so that someone will be available to welcome you. 4. Do we have to book from Saturday to Saturday? Only during May to October. Outside this period, shorter or longer-term rentals may be made by arrangement, although weekly bookings are preferred. 5. Is there wheelchair access? Unfortunately not, the buildings are over 150 years old and not designed for wheelchair access. 6. Can we smoke? The two Le Four a Pain gites are both non-smoking and in Le Pins Parasol we ask that you do not smoke in the bedrooms. Smoking is allowed in the bar/nightclub where a snack menu is also available. 7. Will you send us a key to the property? Should you decide to come and stay at Laferriere and on receipt of your booking form and £100 deposit cheque, we will send you a detailed map and instructions on how to get there. As we live on site, there is no need to send you a key. |
