Hey,
I've 149 pokemon on my blue Pokemon game here in Ireland but I can' catch
Tauros! I know of two patches of grass where I've seen him, in the safari
zone, but when ever I see him, after a mix of bait and balls he's gone and I
won't see him for another 3 or visits to the safari zone, if I'm lucky. Are
there any ways of catching Tauros, or tricks to make him/her appear more.
I've clocked up about 20 hours in the Safari zone trying to catch Tauros, so
I've started to save when I get in so I can save money by restarting when
times up, is that making the situation worse?

Dear Jack,
I know of only 3 ways to get tauros.
1. Go in Areas 2 and 3 of the Safari Zone; there is a very low chance to catch him.
2. Go to Areas 2 or 3 in the Safari Zone and walk in the grass till the time runs out. Then surf up and down the right side of Cinnibar or Seafoam Islands, half on land or half on water. Soon you will run into Safari Zone PKMN. You can use regular balls so you have a better chance.
3. Use the Tauros code for Gameshark then walk into the tall grass or surf in the water and the next pkmn you see will be Tauros.

Does the game shark pro really cause problems with the pokemon games? We are nervous about using it because of all the warnings about losing game save data.

Wow.....That's one of the best questions yet! Actually, I've had no problems using the GameShark Pro and it seems to work fine in Pokemon Yellow. I know the codes on my Gameshark Codes for Red and blue work. I've not tested all the codes I have with a GameShark Pro, though, so do so at your own risk.

Actually, Toby some people say they have one and that it works, but I've NEVER tried one. Just like the "pokegod" codes and most mist stone codes they usually DON'T work. On the other hand you my try any code you find, BUT AT YOUR OWN RISK. If you do find one of these codes that work e-mail me and I'll post it if it does.

Here's the thing shorties, I don't post it cause the ones I've found ALL DON'T WORK! Otherwise I'd post them. So if anyone says if you vote for them they'll give you the code DON'T DO IT! Besides the mist stone is useless. It can evolve any pokemon, but those pokemon can't fight in Pokemon Stadium and aren't allowed in Pokemon League compition. The myth of the mist stone is nothing, but a myth as far as I can tell. Any how you are free to test any code you find, but AT YOUR OWN RISK! Hey if you do find a working mist stone code e-mail me and prove me wrong!
