Limp History
Limp Bizkit are an "Ass-kicking mix of Funk-bass rhythms, Loud metal guitar, Screeching, rapid vocals, Complex drumming, and some PHAT scratches on the 1 and 2."
The havoc began in Jacksonville, Fl. around 1994, their first real break came when Korn played their first show in the Jacksonville area. Afterwhich, Fieldy, Korn's bass player and their guitarist Head met up with Mr. Durst and went back to his place( Fred is a mean tattoo artist). The next time these chums came in contact with each other, they handed over their demo and the guys in Korn took a liking to what they heard, so eventually the demo made to the hands of Korn's producer Ross Robinson. He loved it.
With a little help, Limp Bizkit began touring with Deftones and House of Pain. Record labels from all over began to gain interest, but after deliberation of all the offers, they chose to sign with Flip Records. With the combination Ross Robinson, Josh Abraham and DJ Lethal, Limp Bizkit's debut album Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$, is nothing short of purely intense genious.
