I really like theme parks.
I have never been abroad so the roller coasters in Britain are for me!
I haven't been to the Lightwater Valley in York yet, but I would like to go to ride the longest roller coaster, and on the ground. 1 and a half miles long!!!!
I have a video called White Knuckle. This shows all the white knuckle rides, well, the best ones.
A white knuckle ride is mainly a scary one or a fast one, so fast and scary infact that it makes your knuckles go white (Well, the real reason is that it is so fast and scary that you have to hold on SO TIGHTLY, that your knuckles go white). If your knuckles, don't change colour, i.e, it is not a fast or scary or high roller coaster, so that you don't have to hold on, this is classified as a pink knuckle ride. So now you know!!
Anyway, lets get on with it. The following are rides I have been on, with their descriptions.
APOCALYPSE: Drayton Manor Park. A really high tower drop that you can either stand up on or sit down on. It takes you to the top of the tower(really high-you can see the treeops etc), takes a photo, then lets you go down at the force of gravity. It is scray and when you stand up, it tilts you 45 degrees so you are looking down at the ground as you shoot towards it!! I have a keyring of me on it on the ride, swearing at the camera, but then I had to hold on again quickly as we were falling! You can't scream easily either!
THE VAMPIRE: Chessington World Of Adventures. This is the only swing roller coaster in the uk. It is not that fast though, About 35mph!
NEMESIS: Alton Towers. The first inverted roller coaster outside of the USA. It goes round and round, bashing your head on the sides and takes your photo near the beginning. Smile though because you are going so fast, you can't even see the camera!
THE SHOCKWAVE: Drayton Manor Park. The first stand-up roller coaster in Europe! You stand up, you go upside down 4 times and it takes your photograph. At Drayton Manor, the photos are about £3.50 each though and this one I didn't hold on at all, and smiled at the camera!!
THE ULTIMATE: Lightwater Valley. The longest roller coaster in the World and it travels along the floor!!
PEPSI MAX BIG ONE: Blackpool Pleasure Beach. This is a must!!! It is the tallest roller coaster in the world and the fastest in Britain! At 235ft, you don't want to look down, you can see the cars and trams beneath you and the sea, and it is TOO high, but excellent!!! Also, it goes at 87mph!!! Woah, faster than my dad drives down the motorway!!!!!
