"The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus this person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved." |

Knowing that hate and envy surround him and his camp, King continues to perfect the skills that have brought him such strong resentment from other artist. Jealousy and envy are two things that just come with being unique and unlike anything else out on the street. People hate what they cant be and strive too hard to be something they are not. The foundations of the King's style are rooted in authenticity and accompanied by unorthodox rhyme patterns and verbal wordplay. The music created by King Strick and Concrete Streets Entertainment's mastermind producer Dj Flatline, is one of a kind and that is why it is embraced.

With the upcoming release of King Strick's new album "It hurts 2 be here" scheduled to drop in early April, King has decided to take another apporach with this album. The beats (all produced by Flatline) are on point and have more of a mainstream feel to them a change from those off his Ep "Strickly Bizness" previously released in June of 2004. This album gives the audience a much more comfortable King as well as displaying a more versital range of songs. This album is slated to be one of the most influencial records of the King's young career. When asked about the industry and the impact that he thinks he will have on the game King Strick stated :

" The great philospher confucius once said, "What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others," I dont think that there is anyone in the industry that rhymes exactly the way i do or that can be compared to myself. The rap game is still flourishing with talent and incredible artist while at the same time, the industry is full of half ass rhyming mcees that try and mimic the greats that once controlled the art. There will never be another Tupac Shakur or Christopher Wallace just as the game will never see another Rakim or Shawn Carter. I dont see how an artist can try and recycle what has already been seen and think that they can run with another man's idenity and ideals. Im what the industry has been missing, im the catalyst for change in the world of hip hop, my sound and my voice is the future. Dont hate me for what i do"
