Tim McGraw's song, Seventeen, is officially one of my favorite songs. I'm not 17, but I love this song! If you know me, you understand what I mean. The words make the song kick for me! If you aren't the type to like the normal country song, I am almost positive you will have some kind of attraction to this song!
Seventeen be found on Tim McGraw's cd, A Place In The Sun. The album, itself, is a REALLY GOOD cd!! Songs such as The Trouble With Never, Somebody Must Be Prayin' For Me, Senorita Margarita, Something Like That, Please Remember Me, and A Place In The Sun are all featured in this one album! I would recommend this album to anyone, whether you are or aren't a country fan.
A favorite part of the song for me:
"Back seat of her daddy's car, I was trying not to go too far, kept thinkin' about the words the preacher man said.
Lighting flashed across the sky. I saw love in a young girl's eyes, and that's a look you never forget!
Seventeen, only comes once in a liftime. Don't it just fly by wild and free? Going anyway the wind blew baby.
Seventeen, living on crazy dreams. Rock and rollin' in faded blue jeans. And standing on the edge of everything...Seventeen!" |
