Firstly although my roots track back through England to originally Ireland, I am now a National of the Isle of Man, which you may or may not know is a self governing island in the Irish Sea, which has long standing Celtic roots more akin to the Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish and Bretton (Brittany) traditions.

We, or more accurately, my wife and children, who are born Manx, are at the forefront of re-establishing the Manks language and Celtic arts & traditions as later described and further detailed at http://www.ynchruinaght.org one of our sites hosting the annual Pan Celtic festival.
Son David & his friends have a Caili band King Chiaullee , playing music which is similar to traditional Irish, but with its own distinctive marque!
They are fast becoming well known, not only locally but in Europe, having had several "gigs" away. They have only recently produced their first CD.
They are known in the USA only by a few people in The American Manx Society, who visit the Island regularly and give Trust Awards, through our department of education, to encourage youngsters to maintain their traditional arts and music. Needless to say, his band won such an award a few years ago.
If any of the Kilgallons over there, or anyone interested in their traditional links require something for their cd library, a plug on your site would be appreciated!
