That house was haunted, even if no adult would believe it. It was so obvious; it had all the characteristics of a haunted house: strange noises, looks like it's about to collapse but has looked that way for as long as anyone can remember, is inhabited by an extended family of bats. So of course, it was the ideal location for dares. Dare you to bring us something from inside, dare you to spend the whole night in there alone, you get the idea. But some very odd things happened to the three kids who were dared to spend the night there. Odd even for a haunted house like this one.
