| Page Tips This is just my opinion, you might disagree.- Put content on your page! There are sooo many pages that only have these sections: About me, Free toon dolls, HTML Help, and Sibling sites. (?) Even if you have a really great layout, nobody is going to go to your page if there's nothing for them to do there.
- Pick a few colors, or just different shades of the same color, and keep those as your 'theme'. Pick colors that look good together. (I've seen people use orange and pink together- too bad, I thought their page was pretty good, but it was awful to look at.)
- Don't be discouraged if you don't get a lot of hits right away; signing a lot of people's guestbooks, getting sibling sites, and submitting your site to search engines are the best ways to get hits.
- Only use images where they look good. Don't use them just because you like them. You don't have to fit everything on your main page! And make sure your page doesn't take too long too load; it can be very frustrating. Even if it only takes a little while for you, someone with an older computer might have to wait over a minute for it to load completely.
