| Donkey Kong 64 (Strategy Guide) Run Through Walls To run through the wall you need Chimpy Charge and Diddy Kong. Go into Jungle Japes and go to Funky's store. DON'T GO IN THE STORE! Instead, do a backflip (Z + A) onto the roof. Now, go to the right bannana peel. Chimpy-charge it. After a while, you will notice Diddy will dissapear for a second. KEEP CHIMPY-CHARGING THAT SPOT. Eventually, you will be in a completley green place. You can walk back through the walls with no problem. -Submitted by Kathrine Blueprint Importance The blueprints that you defeat the Krushas for and turn in to Snide aren't just for Banana Barrel Bonuses! If you have reached Hideout Helm you will have seen Snide state that he can block the Blast-O-Matic's destruction of the DK Isles for 50 minutes. Well, if you don't get blueprints, you don't get 50 minutes! For every blueprint you don't have when you reach Hideout Helm, Snide will subtract one minute from said 50 minutes. So if you have 39 out of the 40 total blueprints, you will get 49 minutes. This may sound like a lot, but remember, EVERY MINUTE COUNTS! The least you can get is 10 minutes for no blueprints, but it takes at the least a half an hour! So GET THOSE BLUEPRINTS! -Submitted by Matt Briner Kasplut Color Tip When you encounter a Kasplut, notice it's hair color. It's hair color will indicate what color blueprint he is holding. If the Kasplut's hair is white, then he isn't holding a blueprint. Camera Use Using Tiny, shrink to go into the Fairy-shaped Stone Building in the main hub. Get the camera so you can take pictures of the fairies that are hidden in the game to unlock the Mystery Menu options. DK Theater To view all animation sequences, take pictures of 2 fairies using your camera. The DK Theater will then be unlocked in the Mystery Menu. DK Bonus Stages Take pictures of 6 fairies using your camera, then find Rambi the Rhino and Enguarde the Swordfish. Original Donkey Kong Operate the lever in the Frantic Factory area using the Gorilla-Grab, then play the original Donkey Kong game. Next, complete all 4 stages, then play once more and complete the game to collect the Nintendo Coin. After that, take pictures of 6 fairies using your camera to unlock the Original Donkey Kong option in the Mystery Menu. Jetpac Option Obtain at least 15 Banana Medals, then go visit Cranky to play the Jetpac game. Collect 5,000 points in the game to get the Rareware Coin. Then take pictures of 6 fairies using your camera to unlock the Jetpack option in the Mystery Menu. Boss Battle Take pictures of 10 fairies using your camera to unlock the Boss Battle option in the Mystery Menu. You will now be able to fight any previously defeated bosses. Krusha In Multi-Player Take pictures of 15 fairies using your camera to unlock this option in the Mystery Menu. Cheat Mode Take pictures of 20 fairies using your camera to unlock this option in the Mystery Menu. You will now have infinite items during gameplay. Bonus Levels Collect 40 blueprints and show them to Snide to unlock 8 bonus levels. Replenish Watermelon Meter Get next to a Tag Barrel when low on health, then jump into it and exit to fill up your watermelon meter. |
