Special Interests: James Jupp was convicted at the Knutsford quarter sessions in
Cheshire in 1834 and transported to The Colony of New South Wales.
James never returned to England. It is said his native place was London.
He was working as a millwrights boy at the time of his conviction.
James first wife was Elizabeth Gordon (also a convict) and his second wife was Ellen Rogers.
My grandmother was born Rita Mary Jupp at Euchareena New South Wales
and her family lived in the Molong, Wellington and Mudgee area
before moving to Sydney after WW1.

Special Interests: GOONS One Name Study for JUPP/JUPE and variants.
Still at collecting stage. I estimate that there are about 35,000 of them.
One day I shall have them all on PAF linked up, but haven't started this part yet.
I have 2 lines, one emanating from Chichester area, the other from Nuthurst/Hurstpierpoint both in Sussex.
NB. I have now finished my DARTNELL One Name Study (11,400 of them),
so have worked the bugs out of my system and can apply it to JUPP's when I get the time.
