VITAL AGING
Its like, let me decide!
Choice One: Aging on a Diet of Refined and Non-Vital Foods with the common symptoms age. Foggy mind, depressed spirit, weakness, frailty, pain, being miserable and ill;
OR
Choice Two: Aging in a Body on a diet of raw plant food that is teeming with nutrients, vitality, energy, sharpness of being clear thinking, wisdom, peace, calmness, enthusiasm, and beauty that is as ancient as the Earth itself, and joy.
Hmmm, let me decide. I agree with you. There is no choice. But if there were a choice regarding aging experience, which one are you going to choose? The only reason you would choose option one, is if you thought you had no choice.
For those who have decided that what you eat doesn't matter, and your life is great and will continue to be great as you age regardless of what you eat -- look around. The aging beings around you are aging on a diet of refined foods and non-vital foods and sugary carbonated drinks.
Take a life transforming moment and visualize beings aging on a diet of alive, nutritious plant food, supplemented with vegetable juice and and pure water. Is it a real stretch to see that those who eat vital foods are healthier? More energetic? Alive? Joyful? More color and smoothness to the skin, more tone in their muscle, more sharpness to their speech and pep in their manner?
If you can't imagine aging people being healthy, happy, energetic, enthusiastic, wise, powerful and authentic - it's because you've only known people on non-vital diets. We've accepted that aging means losing your beauty and integrity as you get older but its not true! Our bodies are designed to age in beauty. In wisdom. In spirituality. We are the elders of the tribe!!!
We lead. We guide. We intuit. We instruct. We love and we have loving faith in our offspring. The rest of the tribe looks up to the elders -- even though in our culture we've been taught to turn our eyes away. And for good reason. If the elders of the tribe don't know what to feed themselves what could they possibly know? Eating is fundamental. If you haven't got that down, you don't have much to build on. Does eating to satisfy taste stimulation instead of nourishment ound like something a wise knowing elder would say and do?
We've been handed the idea the older people are dumber, slower, less hip, less with it. And there's enough evidence to prove it. But the evidence that we age miserably and sadly is the evidence of non-vital eating. The miserable aging we've come to expect as normal is evidence of a refined and processed food diet devoid of plant food. If you don't know of any aging persons who eat a vital diet, you have never seen how nor can imagine how dynamic a person can age when he ingests enough earthly elements and nutrients to keep his body functioning optimally.
I'm here to give us another vision. I'm here to put into our minds a picture that we don't often see or recognize. VITAL AGING! The aging experience in a body that eats vital foods.
The aging experience in a healthy body is completely different than an aging experience on a diet of non-vital foods. Yes, were all beautiful and our kids and spouses love us no matter how we eat, but the enthusiasm, the happiness, the vitality - natural to the human spirit -- is dramatically impaired by too little nutrition and too much stored material in the body. Take a walk on the wild side. Health, vitality and enthusiasm. Lets age AND live a little.
Hard to Digest Food
For most of us in our later years, our bodies expend much of its energy trying to digest our hard to digest food choices. You are always tired and always zapped for two reasons. 1) Hard to digest food means your body spends an inordinate amount of energy on digesting it. 2) Your body to save energy, stores hard to digest foods to avoid expending the energy to digest it. Our bodies do not get any nutrients when they store instead of digest food. 3) Malnutrition. If the food you eat has little nutrition, your body does not get nourished.
Fasting
In more natural settings, the elders of the tribe would be instructed by their body wisdom to fast from time to time. This movement of turning to vital foods by first fasting with juicing is an answer to your own body intelligence. Recognize it as such. You are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Do you ever wake up and just know you don't want to eat anything that you normally offer your body? But your body is so used to the sugar, chemical and caffeine fixes, that you just cave in and eat those foods you instinctively know are NOT giving you health.
I am offering a solution to your feeling unwell. This plan will correct your lack of appetite for healthy foods. You don't have an appetite for healthy foods because your digestive system is overloaded and lined with old food debris. You have to be hungry to enjoy natural foods. It is natural law. The digestive system guides the creature to foods that it needs to eat. If that digestive system is laboring over digesting food material from last week's steak dinner, it is in no shape to guide you anywhere. It's preoccupied.
'Un-occupy your digestive system by considering a juice fast. On this juice fast, you are giving your body more nutrients than its seen in a decade (for some of us!) One day's worth of juices is years amount of fresh vegetables that you don't eat and haven't eaten. A one-day fast can wake you up! A one-day juice fast can give your body a preview of life and health eating vital foods. You may have some averse reactions, but I'm going to clue you, those averse reactions will be tempered, smoothed and tolerated because of the flood of nutrients that's going to go straight to your brain and nervous system.
These juices need no digestion (or very little) to be assimilated by the body. Drinking these juices on an empty stomach ensures that the nutrients get into your bloodstream. Drinking lots and lots of water, disperses these nutrients throughout your system. The flood of antioxidants in your bloodstream will attract stored toxins and wastes. Not drinking enough water will mean may feel sick from the concentration of toxins and impurities now in your bloodstream. Drinking water helps carry these toxins out and helps your body eliminate them.
A one-day fast could be the equivalent of extended and extensive medical treatment that doesn't nourish the body or help it release toxins. Most extensive medical treatment gives you and the doctors something to do while your body heals itself. Juicing promotes cleansing and healing.
A one-day juice fast could change your life. For one thing, your deadened body intelligence from dealing with an accumulation of food debris and toxins becomes less burdened. Your body starts to kick in - for once, without the addition of new food material, it can get to work on cleansing you from impurities. That's what the majority of our organs are designed to do. Purifying our blood is the main function of our main organs. The liver, the kidneys, Our liver and kidneys are so overworked. Eating foods that aid digestion and aid elimination of waste products is such a welcome relief. All other foods out side of the plant food kingdom take work, hard work to digest and breakdown. And let's not even talk about food that is specifically designed NOT TO BREAKDOWN!

I'd like to talk about health. I'm part of another newly created club through Yahoo! Clubs called Inner Undoing where we talk about childhood issues, personality transformation and spiritual growth. But on this message board, here on this website, I would like the conversation to stay focused on health. I envision a future enterprise where the contacts I make now, become future juicing enthusiasts and co-workers and creators with me. Generating a conversation will be instrumentally important in expanding vision and imagination as to the steps to take next that will benefit man and planet.
Thank you for your interest and sustained energy in reading these pages. I know that sharing the wisdom that I'm becoming aware of will benefit you as much if not more than its benefited me. I know there more energetic, organized, expressed people out there than myself. There are people reading these pages that have actively and effectively put many, many things into motion and have made many important changes in this world of the physical plane. In a healthy body functioning with a healthy mind, there is not the imagination to envision what you could accomplish.
Your first indication that you need to fast is a loss of appetite for healthy foods. Because of the availability of taste enhanced and stimulating foods around, coupled with our conditioned fear of starvation, we ignore our bodys impulse to fast by eating even more.
Juice fasting will enhance your aging experience.
The TRUTH is, the food you eat wont kill you. The human body is created to digest basically anything without harming the body. But there are conditions that complement the bodys ability to nourish itself on anything. One of those conditions is a copious amount of vegetation in the diet. With copious amounts of vegetation in our diet, we can literally digest anything.
It is the food that youre NOT EATING that is causing the disease and premature aging that weve come to accept as normal. Neglecting to eat plant food is much more detrimental to human health than choosing unhealthy foods. Unhealthy foods are not a hindrance to health in a body that ingests a lot of plant food.
