MAN, BEAST AND THE PLANET EARTH


What is healthy food? This is the debate and the reason for our lack of direction when it comes to feedings ourselves.

At one point in time, we were taught that meat and dairy should be the basis of the human diet followed closely by a lot of bread and starches. You remember the food pyramid, right? Then the pyramid changed and breads and starches were to be the basis of the human diet, meat and dairy playing a smaller role along side fruits and vegetables.

The food pyramid should be changed once again so that the ideal diet is based upon fruits and vegetables. Then followed by nuts, grains and a small proportion of the diet to be meat and dairy. At least half of what we eat needs to be plant food to get all the nutrients and earthly elements our bodies need to function and sustain itself.

If plant food does not make up the majority of what you eat, you might be following the established traditional food education dictates, but you are not following the dictates of a healthy human body. The human body needs plant food. Not knowing this, being taught otherwise, and not acting upon this knowledge is what keeps the world locked in eating habits that work against health and happiness.

Plant food is the food designed to fuel the human body. The human body was designed to ingest and digest plant food. The digestive system of a vegetarian animal is very different from a meat eater's digestive system. With 23 feet of intestines, (as in human or ape) opposed to 5 feet of intestines (as in the digestive system of a lion or dog) it is very important that we consume foods compatible with our digestive system.

The human digestive system can digest anything. However, not everything digests well or easily. Plant food is the easiest food to digest because of its abundance of digestive enzymes and inherent ability to break down and be assimilated. Plant food is intelligent! It knows exactly what to do in the human body and how to do it in the most efficient manner. Plant food promotes the breakdown and digestion of all other food matter.

Our digestive systems are so similar to the gorilla or chimpanzee that it takes an expert to tell the digesitve systems apart. Gorillas, so powerful, muscular and strong derive their protein and all other nutritional needs from plant food, primarily green vegetation. Elephants and gorillas are massive and strong animals. How do they maintain their weight and strength without eating meat and dairy? Green vegetation! Vegetation contains within itself all the building blocks of creation. Vegetation is what created life, sustains life and will bring us forward in our next level of consciousness and evolution. The bodies of gorillas, elephants, humans and other vegetarian animals convert the amino acids readily available in plantfood into protein. Consuming vegetation is the body’s optimal way of obtaining protein.

When we eat animal products, we are ingesting protein that must be broken down into amino acids, in order for the body to convert these amino acids into protein. Depending upon animal products for protein manufacture within the human body means our bodies have the laborious job of breaking down animal protein down into amino acids. We're not suggesting that we as humans should have no meat or dairy. We are suggesting that the optimal diet for the human being should be derived from vegetation supplemented with anything else you want to eat.

We're suggesting that without a plentiful amount of plant food in the diet, meat, dairy and starches do not digest and do not break down as nature intended. Meat, dairy and grains are difficult to digest and even more so difficult when there is a lack of plant food in the diet.

Supplementing your diet with raw vegetable juice aids digestion of all other foods. The digestive enzymes work on old food debris and encourage breakdown and decomposition of harder to digest foods. Drinking plenty of pure water and vegetable juice aids digestion, nourishes cells, promotes toxin and waste elimination in the blood and organs and provides the body with the life energy that it needs to think, feel, act and age optimally and in balance.
