" No way! That icky thing was a new monster! " Serena shrieked, a look of
disgust on her features. Rei growled. " Of course it was, meatball brains!
Didn't you notice it?! " Serena pondered for a moment and seemed to finally
realize it. But instead, she just gulped. " Um....All the monsters we fight
look ugly to me. How-how was I suppose to tell if it was different? "

Rei felt like crying and laughing at her friend's stupidity. But instead,
she just held her emotions back. " Serena....how could you not notice that
this is a new enemy? There was about a hundred signs! " Serena knitted her
brows together in confusion. " Like what? " Rei clenched her fists and was
about to explode but Lita cut in. " I'll tell her, you don't have to blow up
again. Sheesh! You people never learn! "

Shifting in her seat, Lita cleared her throat slightly before beggining. "
Well, Serena, in case you haven't noticed, the monster was ugly...I agree
with that....but tell me, have we ever fought a weed in our lives before? "
Serena blinked. Lita was right. They never did fight a plant before....

" Plus, the monster was stronger. It drains energy using a different way and
unlike the other monsters we fight, this one reproduces body parts. " Lita's
voice cut in and continued again. She really seemed to want to get this over
with.

" Another sign was the fact that this monster's fallen body parts seem to
be a different being. They seem to have their own minds. And if you're going
to ask how that's possible....then remember when you killed the monster? The
had fallen tentacles were still alive even after it died and they seem to
only grow on the monster, as if they are the thorns and the monster's the
stem or whatever. You get me? Okay, good. " Serena frowned. She didn't even
get to answer.

" And last, but not the least, remember when we defeated Beryl? She was
the 'Queen' of Evil. That means that if she dies, all her people die, too.
And she died. We killed her.....so that means that this new monster that we
just faced is part of another group. It means that it has annother leader
which leads to the point that we have a new enemy. Now do you get it? " (AN:
I know that Darien and Serena are suppose to remember their past by this
time but as I have said before, I don't follow the exact plotline of
Sailormoon and I'm just mixing different stuff from SM. So don't wonder how
this is possble, okay? In my fanfics, anything is possible.)

Serena stared blankly at Lita before an expression that clearly meant ' Oh
' dawned on her face. The girls sweatdropped except for Lita who was proud
of being able to get her meatball-headed friend to understand. Serena
grinned and hugged Lita, catching her off guard. " Now I get it! Thanks,
Lita! "

Lita sweatdropped and smiled. " Sure, no problem! " Another blank
expression took over as Serena began to ponder again. " That wasn't a
hundred a signs....." The girls groaned casuing Serena to nervously giggle.

" Okay, okay. Just kidding...but if we have a new enemy......what are we
going to do about this? We hardly know anything about these things. " Mina
smiled and crossed her legs. " Well, our little genius here figured out some
info while we were attacking the thing. She examined the tentacles and the
monster and got a bunch of information that should help us know what to do.
" She gestured toward Amy who was blushing at the word "genius" but shook it
off. Amy's eyes wondered to her mini computer before beggining.

" Well, this new monster is obviously stronger and feeds on the energy of
other people for a purpose. I found out that the monster isnt the main
threat. The threat is it's tentacles or whatever body parts it has. The
monster only seemes like some sort of messanger that attacks people to get
energy for it's tentacles or other body parts which store the energy within
them to deliver it to something else. I'm not sure what, but once they've
had their fill, they will push this energy back into the monster which will
deliver it to something else. Without it's body parts, it's left helpless,
just like what happened earlier before Sailormoon killed it. If it dies,
it's fallen body parts remain alive, sucking energy from humans. Without the
monster, it cannot live so it drains energy for itself so that it can live
even without the monster. So basically, it's kinda like a messanger. The
monster delivers the tentacles which delivers the energy and once they've
got their job done, they leave and will come back again whenever they run
out of energy. "

Serena yawned, trying to stay awake through the long explanation. " Okay,
I get it. So can we leave now? I'm starving! "

" Serena! " The girls yelled, not believing her carelesness. Serena
gulped. " Okay, okay. Sheesh! I was only kidding....but I am a little
starved. Let's just talk about this over some milkshakes, okay? " The girls
groaned seeing that if they were going to get anywhere, they had to get
there through food. Standing up, they all headed for another shop since they
knew that the arcade was probably getting fixed. At times like
these.....food seemed to be their only solution until Serena started acting
like a true leader. If this is what it took to help her grow up, then
they'de do it. Serena needed to become more mature expecially now that there
was a new enemy and the world needed her even more....

Author's Notes: Okay that's done. I know it's shorter than my other chapters
but I kinda got behind schedule since I still had to study for a test at my
school so please accept my apology.

Anyway, thanks again to all those people that emailed me and to John and
Serenity. It really helps knowing that all this is worth something.

Chapter 4 is coming up and it's called " Their Little Game." This doesn't
exactly have any fighting scenes in it but it does have other scenes that
might be just as interesting. So I hope you'll like it. Until then, goodbye
