Thanks to my friend, Bobobi, I can give you this information. Why don't you visit his site, http://maxpages.com/pokemonfriend
This game's nothing like all the other Pokémon games, instead of trying to
become a Pokémon
master your trying to become the best battler! The game's just like when you
battle trainers
except that now everythings in 3D so you can see what the attacks look like
instead of seeing a
few flashes like on Gameboy. There will also be a unit shipped with the game, it's
a 64GB Pak.
This item fits into the controller like the rumble pak. There's a slot at the bottom
of the pak
where you insert one of your Pokémon games, enabling you to swap the
Pokémon you caught
on Gameboy and transfer it to 64. Also you can play Pokémon on your T.V
using the N64
controller to move around. There will be 40 built in Pokémon that you can
chooses from at the
start, you have to upload the others from your Gameboy. The starting 40
Pokemon are:
Venusaur
Dugtrio
Gengar
Scyther
Vaporeon
Dragonite
Charizard
Primeape
Onix
Cloyster
Jolteon
Nidoking

Once you start the game, a menu will appear with these options:
Picture Book: This holds the Pokémon in a Photo Album so you can now view all
the Pokémon in full color and in 3D, there's also maps to show the Pokémon in
it's natural habitat
and where it's located so you'll be able to find it easily.
Quick Look: This option is just like when you click Pokemon on the Gameboy, you can
look at the Pokémon's stats, moves, HP, PP, picture etc. You can also view the
items stored in
the computer.
Collection: This shows you all of the Pokémon on the cartridge, here you'll be
able to check out you and your opponents teams and see which moves are
effective against what Pokémon,
like the battle chart.
Registration: Here you can import your friend's Pokémon and fight them.
Tournament: Here you send your Pokémon into battle the computer or your
friends whatever you choose.
This game will not come out in the US but Pokémon Stadium 2 will be around
October 99. It's
basicly the same except you get every Pokémon not just 40, as well as some new
features. |
