(The Irish Washer Woman)
1. A
(D)state- ment was writ-ten a long time a- go though
(A7)just when, ex- act- ly we real- ly don't know, Its
(D)aim the a- pos- tles in- struc- tion to show, the
(A7)words that are now known to (D)us as (G)the (D)Creed.
2. The-
creed is di- vi- ded up in- to three sec- tions, each
part called an ar- tic- le, mak- ing in- spec- tions o(F)
part of the tri- ni- ty. In these re- flec- tions we
learn how God sa- tis- fies all of our need.
3. Ar- ti- cle one shows God's work in cre- a- tion then
Ar- ti- cle two shows His plan of sal- va- tion. The
work of the Spi- rit in sanc- ti- fi- ca- tion is
what is re- cor- ded in ar- ti- cle three.
4. And-
so in the creed we see Gods loving grace which
no- thing in hea vn or on earth can dis- place, e-
quip- ping us dai- ly for run- ning the race for our
God who to us gave him- self to- tal- ly.
