(The Camp Granada Song)
1. God cre-
(G)a-ted heav'ns and (D7)earth. Dreamed me
(D7)up and caused my (G)birth. Gave me
(B7)eyes, ears mouth and (Em)nose, limbs and
(D)hands and fin-gers, (A7)feet and (D7)toes.
Gave me
(G)sight and taste and (D7)sound to en-
(D7)joy all thing a- (G)round. Gave a
(B7)mind so I could (Em)see (C)all the
(G)many many (D7)things he's done for (G)me. (C) (G)
2. Gave the
roof a-bove my head, food and
clothes and nice warm bed, fami-
ly and all my friends, I know
These are other things he also sends.
Need to
question, heart to sigh, sense of
wonder, tears to cry, Laughter
that can split my sides, These are
also other things that God pro-vides.
B. (Gm)He pro-(F)vides the things I need each
(Gm)day, pro- (F)tects from danger on life's,
(B flat) way, pre- serves from evils and from
(Cm)harms, enfolding (D7)in his loving arms.
3. If you
asked and you sure could why God
gives us all this good. It's not
merit on our part, but it
comes out of his kind and loving heart.
For these
things I'm bound to pray and to
thanks to him ev'ry day. Praise, serve,
love and obey too, because
all these things most certainly are true.
