Cyprus, Lightfoot & Edinburgh
Sgt. Whittam and The Turnips Of The Moon (2003)

On this debut album from prog. folk punk rockers CLE, Mr. Lightfoot wrote and co-wrote many of the songs as well as played all acoustic guitars, keyboards, piano, lead vocals, toy guitar, tin whistle and kazoo. Jimmy also produced and engineered the acclaimed album. The album features electric guitarist/songwriter Rob Edinburgh and drummer/songwriter Joe Cyprus (now currently playing with Acid Test Radio). The very original "love" version of Don't You Like It? can be found on this album, it makes quite an interesting listen!
Descent Into Madness
Jimmy Lightfoot

Jimmy's debut solo CD sees a wealth of crudely recorded and played songs recorded directly onto CD. Jimmy plays all the instruments and does all the vocals and did all the producing/recording/designing for the limited edition, now extinct CD which now only belongs to the priveledged few who attended very early Lightfoot performances. The CD is noteable for its experimentively eclectic mix of tracks from the speeded up and reversed Reverse Osmosis Process (apparently too risque to be played normally!) through the acoustic normalnes of favourites such as A Boy Named Sue, Dissecting The Line, Don't You Like It to the bizarre epic monster sludge with which the album closes

Picnics In The Park
Jimmy's current side-band, Picnics In The Park, features the man himself on the bulk of lead vocals as well as occasional keyboard alongside the talents of Nash (of Acid Test Radio fame) and Jane Cyprus (Jimmy's frequent backing vocalist). Writing credit goes to all three, although Nash wrote all the music. Jimmy produced and recorded the two tracks as well as later re-mixing them into hard house choons.
