Serena doesn't have many qualities that make
for a superheroine and Raye always argues with her because of
that. Being Sailor Moon is more of a growing experience for her.
Darian gave her a nickname which she dislikes, Meatballhead,
which comes from her distinctive hairstyle. She loves to eat and
chase after guys, especially Tuxedo Mask. She is the most
powerful Scout and the Moon Princess.

LUNA

Luna is the magical cat who gave Serena the
power to become Sailor Moon, she also gave power to Sailor
Mercury, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Jupiter. Luna hepled the Sailor
Scouts train to be able to fight the Negaforce.

From the first time Luna met Serena she thought
that she would never be able to get her act together. She saw her
as a scared crybaby who cared more about Sailor V video games
than being a Sailor Scout. Further along in the series though
Luna learns that Serena is not what she appears to be. She
managed to defeat Queen Barrel, heal Anne, Allan, and the
Doom-Tree, and to defeat Rubious and also heal the Four Sisters!

TUXEDO MASK

Tuxedo Mask is always right on time to save
Sailor Moon and the other Sailor Scouts from danger. Over a
period of time Sailor Moon falls in love with the handsome man
that comes to her rescue. As it turns out, Tuxedo Mask, also
known as Darien, falls in love with Serena/Sailor Moon.

Before Srena found out that Darien was actually
Tuxedo Mask she used to hate him more than anything in the world.
Every time she would run in to him (and I mean litteraly run in
to him, Serena's a cultz) he used to make fun of her hair. He
would say that that it looked like meatballs and if she kept
eating doughnuts and junk food she would have a body to match.

When Reni comes into their lives Serena is
nothing but a jealous hog. Even though Reni is only five or six
years old Serena thinks that she is trying to steal Darien away
from her. Isn't that crazy or what? Anyway, Darien stops seeing
Serena and she thinks that it's because he has fallen in love
with Reni! Give me a break!

The truth is that Darien is having dreams that
Serena will be in danger if she is near him and doesn't want to
take the chance that the dreams could come true. He won't tell
Serena because he's afraid she would think he was a liar and not
love him anymore. When Serena comes over to talk to Darien he
says that it's over and doesn't want to see her anymore but when
she leaves he comes close to tears because he can't be with her.

Raye has, in her opinion, the best leadership
qualities of any of the Sailor Scouts. As a teenager, she has
gained popularity amongst those her own age. Also, she goes out
on dates (much more often than the others). At first, she
disliked Serena (Sailor Moon) for being unfit ( again in her
opinion ) personality-wise, as the leader. Later on, she then
sees the error of her ways, and then helps out as a strong
shoulder in Sailor Moon's crises.

Amy is the brains of the team. Anytime anything
mentally complex presents itself, she rises to the challenge.
Rated with an IQ approaching that of a genius, she can generally
solve almost any puzzle that the Sailor Scouts finds themselves
in. She also is the most aware of Serena being an emotional
teenager, and not just a superheroine who isn't sensitive to the
needs of a young girl. As a Sailor Scout, Amy also fits the
description of the idiom 'Brainpower over firepower'.

Lita is the practical minded Sailor Scout. She
generally serves as a morale booster (in combat only). She has an
independant and strong willed personality and a great cook too.
She is also the tallest of all five Sailor Scouts. She likes to
step up to challenges (unlike Amy, she fights rather than
thinks). She was kicked out of her last school for fighting and
thats when she came to Serena's school. Lita, like Serena loves
to chase after guys and often even mixes them up. She is the
strongest physicly of all scouts and I belive even though Sailor
Moon has a more powerful attack just because of Sailor Jupiter's
strong will to fight she would still be stronger then Sailor
Moon. Lita is really the one never running for a real fight and
she is my favorite scout.

Mina has the most open personality than anyone
else. She can be friendly with everyone. She will show genuine
concern for the spiritual well being of anyone else, especially
Serena. She has no enemies, however that doesn't mean she can't
do her own share in combat. In order to help make friends, she
often tries to use the playful (non-mischievious) approach in
becoming friendly. Sailor Venus is somewhat special in the Sailor
Scout storyline. In the translation, Sailor V is mistakenly
referred to as Sailor Venus in the first episode that she appears
in. The Scouts are in awe not because she said that she was the
fifth Sailor Scout (which they didn't know untill later in the
japanese version) but because they had a celebrity with them,
Sailor V. Actually, Sailor V is Sailor Venus, only she gets
publicly known as Sailor V. Remember, she had on her cool glasses
when she first appeared.

Hotaru is the only child of Professor Tomoe.
She is a very shy and isolated person, who doesn't make friends
easily. In her normal form, that is as Hotaru not Sailor saturn,
she has the ability to cure wounds. This power has been her
nemesis in the social scene, her classmates claiming that this
odd ability of hers is unnatural and gross. This has led to her
spending most of her time in her father's mansion. She also has a
weak body. She can exhaust herself much quicker than any normal
person, partly as a tradeoff to her ability to heal.

As Sailor Saturn, she is not her normal, well
spirited self. As the vessel for the entity known as Mistress
Nine, her only goal is to destroy all life on Earth. She also
wields the fearsome polearm known as the Silence Glaive. She can
use the weapon to slice through anything that gets in her way.
However, at the end of Sailor Moon S, she is exorcised by Sailor
Moon and the evil influence of Mistress Nine is thus removed.
Throughout Sailor Moon Super S, Hotaru is but a baby, reduced to
this by her contribution by assisting Sailor Moon in saving the
world in the climax of Sailor Moon S. It is only in Sailor Stars
when Hotaru rediscovers her powers and grows back to her normal
self. But this time, she fights for the cause of good along with
the rest of the Scouts.

Not much is known about Sailor Uranus because
she does not appear in the North American television series. This
is due to the fact that only 65 episodes of Sailor Moon have been
released with English transulation. It is known however that
Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune are the best of friends.

Sailor Neptune appears at the beginning of the
Sailor Moon S series. Michiru's intellect is the greatest of her
assets. Unlike her partner Haruka, Michiru considers the
implications of her actions before going into action. She also
has a very calm personality. She is very skilled at painting,
swimming and playing her violin.

As Sailor Neptune, she is also very serious,
and like Haruka, willing to die for her cause. However, she
doesn't want to see Haruka get hurt, and has often compromised
her position to protect her partner. Sailor Neptune carries the
second talisman; the Deep Aqua Mirror.

SAILOR PLUTO

She appears at the end of Sailor Moon R. Her
powers are over the control of time. Setsuna likes to shroud
herself in mystery. As the guardian of the passage of time,
Setsuna is very isolated, and only likes to reveal herself in the
most desperate situations, although as the series goes on we see
more and more of her.

Unlike the other scouts, Setsuna is much older
(although her appearance is still as a young adult due to her
existance in the passage of time). In Sailor Moon R Pluto is the
one who helped Rini to go back in time to try and help her mother
( Sailor Moon ). As Sailor Pluto, she wields the Time Staff (it
looks like a very long key). In her staff is the third talisman,
the Garnet Orb.
