| Stand on a tree glitch This is a cheat for standing on trees. First you go to a tree and cut it down, stand on the square that you cut the tree on, save the game and shut it off, then reload the game and you will be standing on the tree. pretty pointless huh? Daniel ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get Marowak, Golbat, or Snorlax to lev. 245! You already have the cheat about catching pokemon over level 100, but how about having a level 255 snorlax, Marowak or Golbat!? Use the item duplication trick on rare candy, and raise those pokemon that are over level 100 until level 255. DO NOT GO OVER 255! The pokemon will revert to level 0, and be crappy and useless! Don't try to raise them with experience because they will automatically go to level 100 with any experience at all. Also, don't trade a snorlax or golbat from a red version to the blue version, or don't trade a marowak from the blue version to the red version. The reason I say this is that the red cartridge only recognizes snorlax and golbat over level 100, and the blue cartridge only recognizes marowak over level 100. IF YOU PUT IT IN A BOX ON THE PC, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT OUT AGAIN! If you do want to trade, you must keep the pokemon with you at all times or it will become permanently stuck in the box. Don't use these pokemon to fight wild pokemon or they will become level 100 from the experience. Instead, use them to whip the crap out of your unsuspecting friends in a colosseum battle where they don't get experience.This is a seriously wicked code, but as always, there is a chance that it will screw your game, and IT'S NOT MY FAULT! First, you need to make sure that you haven't traded for all the pokemon in the cinnibar lab. Once that's taken care of, you need to catch or retrieve a pokemon that you haven't traded in the lab yet. Walk in the Safari Zone and right back out without battling. Then go trade the pokemon. Surf along the right side of Cinnibar Isl. and eventually you'll come to a pokemon that looks like a bunch of fuzzy dots shaped like one of those hand things you wear at baseball games or something...He's really hard to capture. My technique: these are the pokemon i used to capture it. L56 Venasaur, L16 Dratini, L3 Electrode (The traded one), L26 Graveler, and L18 Diglett. First, I used the Venasaur and used Mega Drain. This got it down in hp. Then I put it to sleep with sleep powder. I then switched to Dratini and Surfed it. Once it got pretty low, i used thunder wave and wrapped it. Once it gets VERY low,use an Ultra Ball, but the secret to capturing it with an ultra ball, is to Press and hold up and B whenever you throw the ball, and press and hold A while still holding up and B whenever the MissingNo gets caught IN the ball. Thanks to Michael(Raichu) for this code ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fight Land Creatures in Water To fight creatures that normally live on land in water, go to the water around Cinnabar Island or Seafoam Islands (The only place you can be randomly attacked while swimming.) Swim along the shore of any island and you will fight land creatures. (You have to swim on a place where the square is half land and half water.) Instead of fighting a set group of monsters in the water, you actually fight monsters from the last place you were. So to get safari zone monsters, you need to go to the section of the safari zone with that monster, let your time run out, then go to the coast. Using this trick you can catch Kangaskhan, Scyther, and Tauros. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Easy Level Gain To easily gain experience, simply switch the Pokémon you want to train with the top Pokémon on your list. When you go into battle the Pokémon will pop out. You can then switch to another Pokémon. Once you win the battle the beginning Pokémon and the fighting Pokémon will both gain experience points. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Celadon City Slot Tip All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot. Play in there or just go out instantly. After you do that ga and surf to the Seafoam Islands. Don't go onto them, but get as close as you can with out going onto the land. Beat one version, and on the second version, don't go on to the S.S. Anne. Instead, trade a Pokemon from the beaten version that has cut on it. Then, just play normally until you beat Koga and find the Surf HM. Go back to the S.S. Anne and walk around on the dock past the guy who asks for the S.S. Anne ticket. Use Surf and go onto the island on the right. use strength and move the truck. Under it will be a pokeball containing Mew. I tried this code and the truck wouldnt move ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pokémon Duplication By PokemonMax Work on both American Versions. Here is a trick to duplicate your pokemon. This works on the American versions. I will try to explain it as good as I can. For this trick to work, you need both games and two gameboys. Here is what you do: 1. Put the pokémon you want duplicated into one of the games. Either red or blue. Let's use red for an example. 2. Put a pokémon you don't mind losing in the other cartridge. Which is blue. 3. Go to the trade center and trade the pokémon you want duplicated (red) with the one you want to erase (blue). 4. After they are traded, leave the game (blue) on with the pokémon you erased and turn the game (red) off with the pokémon you wanted duplicated, before the "Trade Completed" sign appears, right after the "Waiting..." sign disappears. If you did the steps right, the game (red) with the pokémon you wanted duplicated should still be there and the one you erased on the other game (blue) should be the same as the one you traded. I tried to explain it as best as I could so don't get mad at me if you can't get it working. **Note: This might mess up your game, but I had no trouble with it. If anything happens to your game please do not put the blame on me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pokeball Secret By Zabunny Throw any kind of Pokeball (Greatball, Ultraball, or Pokeball), and after it is released from your hand, hold UP + B. The ball will act like a Masterball! I caught Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, and Snolax with this handy trick. It works, but takes a bit of practice to get right. The trick works on both versions. Make sure you don't have 6 pokemon with you, or your game will freeze. Then make it fight another pokemon and it will grow to level 100 and evolve into Kangaskhan. Where to find the Pokémon Start with Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle: This requires 2 Linkable Game Boy sytems 2 Pokémon games, any colors Game Link Cable What you will do is use one Game Boy as Pokémon storage and the other Game Boy as Pokémon capturer. Start a new game with Game Boy A. Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Squirtle. Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Squirtle to Game Boy B. Start a new game with Game Boy A. Repeat 2 through 4. Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Charmander. Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Charmander to Game Boy B. Start a new game with Game Boy A. Repeat 6 through 8. Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Bulbasaur. Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Bulbasaur to Game Boy B. Start a new game with Game Boy A. Repeat 10. There should be 2 Squirtles and 2 Charmanders on Game Boy B, so now trade one of each back to Game Boy A. Text A code to see Mew on the Pokemon Hall of Fame (sent it by Animoon256) First, beat the Elite Four 12 times. Then, after you beat them the 12th time, go straight to a PokeCenter and look at the Pokemon League website. You will see a bunch of pictures of strange pokemon and other pokemon that are over level 100. Mew will be one of them. You can't use Mew or capture it, you just see it on the computer. A code to capture Togepi (sent in by a reader) You need the Itemfinder to actually start this code. Then, walk around Mt. Moon and use the Itemfinder on different areas. Do that 100 times. On the 100th time, it will say that the Itemfinder reacted and you will have found an egg. Keep walking around and eventually the egg will hatch and you'll have Togepi. Togepi is found near the exit of Mt.Moon. Here is a code to get a pikablu (sent in by an anonymous reader) You need a friend with the game and a link cable. You or your friend needs to capture a regular pikachu. Then, trade the pikachu 10 times between yourselves. On the 10th time, give the pikachu a water stone and it will evolve into Pikablu. How to get 199 items First, fly to Viridian City and talk to the Old Man. Watch him catch a weedle. Then, move the item that you want 199 of to the sixth spot on your list. Fly to Fuschia City, and then SURF along the coast of Seafoam Islands. You will eventually run into a pokemon called 'M. Either defeat it or run away. After you have encountered this pokemon, look at the item on your list. You will have 199!!! Here is a code to make a poke ball catch a pokemon 100% of the time (even if it isn't a Master Ball) When you try to capture the pokemon, and you see the ball just about to close on the pokemon, press up and B. It will capture the pokemon. This trick takes a while to get the hang of, but when you learn it, it is very useful. To capture a PokeGod, read this!! I heard about this on another site, and I just couldn't believe that it really was true. So I tried it out for myself. Here's what I got...First, I advise you build your pokemon levels. Get them up to level 100 before you start. Stock up on supplies, like Max Potion, Full Heal, Full Restore, etc. Now, go to Indigo Plateau and defeat the Elite Four 26 times. On the 26th time, Professor Oak will say, "I'm tired of this." He will let you walk around the Pokemon Hall of Fame which leads to another city. I've heard it called Air City, but I'm not really sure about the name. In this city, people swap PokeGods. Now, if 26 times doesn't work for you, keep going at it. My friend tried the code and he had to beat the Elite Four 32 times. It's probably different in each Game Pak. To easily build your pokemon to level 100 Use the code to get 199 of any item, and duplicate Rare Candies. Keep giving your pokemon Rare Candies until it is on level 100. Simple as that! Here is a code to catch Missingno. First, you need the FLY and SURF techniques. Then, FLY to Viridian City and talk to the Old Man and watch him catch a weedle. Then, FLY to Cinnabar Island and trade with any person in the Pokemon Lab. Then, SURF along the right coast of Cinnabar Island and you will run into Missingno. the "missing number" pokemon. It is number 000 and WILL NOT be recorded on Pokedex. It has strong attacks such as Water Gun and Sky Attack. Even though it has strong attacks, its defense is really low, so use a weak pokemon. A code to capture Porygon First, get 199 nuggets and then sell them all. You will have 999,999 dollars. Now, go to the Rocket Game Corner and talk to the guy that gives you 50 coins for 1000 dollars. Keep buying from him until you get 6400 coins. Then exchange your coins for a Porygon. This trick works for any prize you want to get. Capture pokemon level 100+ This code is called the "glitch". Go to the area where you can capture 'M, and keep SURFing. The pokemon you can run into are: lv. 124 Haunters, lv. 144 Snorlaxes, lv. 155 Marowaks, and lv. 6 Bulbasaurs and Charmanders, and Squirtles. Pokemon differ per game pak, so the pokemon may not be the same. Get free coins at the Game Corner (sent in by sunbeamh20) Walk around the Game Corner and press A simultaneously. You can find up to 100 FREE COINS!! Capture Safari Zone Pokemon outside of the Safari Zone Walk into the Safari Zone, and then walk out. Go to Fuschia City and then SURF along the coast of Seafoam Islands. You will run into Kangaskans and Tauroses and Pinsirs along with other hard-to-catch pokemon in the Safari Zone. It usually helps to walk around the area in the Safari Zone where the rare pokemon is located and then FLY out of te Safari Zone. |
