The Shirt Story:
Almost three years ago I founded this website,my intentions at the time were to witness
to others via the Internet! Now after the firstyear I have created a T-Shirt for the website!
The shirt design was really a long drawn out process but the colors yellow and black
actually were the easiest part of the design. I worked for almost a month on the logo
and after a few weeks of prayer, the scripture, on the rear of the shirt was decided
upon! I located a close friend who does screen printing and the idea then went through some alterations to fit it on the T. Originally just the logo was to be yellow and black and the shirt could be white, but after further consideration the CLJC T-Shirt was born,a streaming
bright yellow seen for miles, and I do mean miles! he he Now the story, It's last year in August after returning from a California fishing trip, the Holy Spirit conveyed to me that I would go on another trip just like the one I had just left,but next time I would witness to everyone on the ship! God said everyone!!! As I sat in my car puzzled with the thought of trying to witness to 50 plus men who were more interested in fishing and beer than anything that I had to say ,I thought
how? Seems impossible, but hey I am not Jonah and this isn't Nineveh so ok God I'm in, but it bothered me for some time trying to figure it out! As the year passed I forgot about the trip, I mean outta sight outta mind y'know?? God's words to me were but a memory,about a month after the shirts were done, the fishing trip was set to go, as I packed my clothes I thought well I better pack a few website shirts, for my friends and family, so I packed about 8 shirts! As I traveled back to California the words came back to me in the silence of the long drive, and I said to myself yes,but how Lord! Then it came to me that the Lord wouldn't have me do anything I was not prepared to do so I just said ok I am gonna be pulling fisherman up by the bootstraps, and proclaiming the Lord if they throw me overboard that's ok by me! The shirt I had wanted to wear on board ,but I wasn't sure exactly how they ,the(fisherman)would receive the shirt! As I proclaimed to others in my family who were along on the trip that in the morning I am dawning the CLJC T-Shirt they said "ok we will wear ours to!" The next morning we got up and began getting suited up, I dawned my shirt and headed topside! As I broke out of the decks below into the soft breeze and beautiful scenery above I noticed only I was wearing the T-Shirt, or at least I thought?
Everyone else had there's hid underneath a coat or another shirt, but that wasn't for long as the sun began to heat up the shirts came out and before you knew it 7 of us were sporting God's awesome WORD as others on board looked with utter disbelief they were reading our shirts all of them! Some met the truth with silence,Some with smiles,I will point out that before I was done all had definitely been witnessed to ,or had many a chance
to be ,if they didn't know Jesus already! God is utterly amazing and the next time you think it's to much you might wanna think again! Praise the Lord! He is worthy!
