"Satan's Fall"

"Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"
Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:"

Isaiah 14:14 "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."
Isaiah 14:15 "Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."
Isaiah 14:16 "They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;"

What is this page about??

This page is clearly ominous and is not to be taken as anything derogatory, but rather raising an awareness and understanding to who actually is the "Adversary" and the "Accuser" of our brethren(the Saints)!
While I wanted something a little less graphic this clearly makes you aware of just who it is we are discussing!
Y'know Satan's best weapon is the fact that he remains unseen in our pitfalls. Satan would rather that you not equip yourselves against him! I would say that in most Christian circles we treat him as a fairytale ,and this is a rather sad mistake. Not only is demonic influence the biggest obstacle we face, but it is also the one we are least equipped to facein most cases! Now I have a page on spiritual warfare at this site,it will give you ideas on dealing with immense evil. Please understand this, the only saving thing you can do is accept Christ, be sealed with the Holy Spirit ,and walk in the word of God humbly ,and purposefully! Putting upon yourselves the "Whole Armor of God!" in (Ephesians 6) daily,so that in the evil day you may be able to stand ! The Christian who loves the Lord, and walks in his word is an immense threat to the Devil!
I think prayer and knowledge that Satan is at the core of most all strife and infirmities is more than half the battle!

"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices."

(2nd Corinthians 2:11)

What do you mean our Adversary?

Many people believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God, and God the Father ,and the Holy Spirit which comprise the Trinty, lest they forget that belief in God warrants the knowledge of all His creations ! You might say it this way "If you know and accept that God exists, either by what you know is true or by faith through His word, you must also believe that Sata exists! People still wonder why bad things happen to us even as Christians! Arm yourselves with the Word of God and the Armor God provides!(Ephesians 6)

Ask yourselves what made Satan who he is, and what has he been able to achieve in his rebellion to God? That may answer why we are dealing today with Churches that practice no Deliverance as espoused in Luke 4:18? Lucifer was a lead praise Angel in Heaven. How Lucifer got that position is unknown, sometimes the Bible only gives us clues as to certain things and Lucifers heavenly period is one of them when it comes to what he did before his fall! Either way Lucifer's character seems to be very intelligent
,very determined, and very evil.

The Bible tells us he is the "Father of lies" and was a murderer from the beginning!

What is the character of this Satan?

Let's look at "The Book of Job" in the Old Testament(Holy Bible)
Let us see how Satan approaches God and how he pleads the case against Job a righteous man! "Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God(Fallen Angels) came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
Job 1:7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
Job 1:8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

What is Satan's line of thought?

First he questions God's description of Job,Second Lucifer states facts about Jobs favor from God!,Third he challenges God! Then for whatever reason God allows the test of his servant to go forward accepting Satan's challenge!

Satan again in the following passages tempts Jesus by asking him to bow down and worship him! but what is key in these passages??

What is the key passage?

Luke 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Luke 4:2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
Luke 4:3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Luke 4:6 And the devil said unto him, "All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it."
Luke 4:7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Luke 4:9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
Luke 4:10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
Luke 4:11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Luke 4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God"

Ok I'm back now look to the text above and see the quote I enlarged

Luke 4:6 All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it."

This means that Satan is given an abundant amount of power and y'know this is the second time we hear the word power in association with Satan,God says He will give Satan power to overtake" Job",and now we have Satan claiming he has power to give to anyone on this earth as he freely chooses! If it were not so true the Lord would have refuted it, but he didn't in the wilderness.
I am going to give you below a link to a site that has some very interesting information on the Angels that have Fallen!

Some of this information comes from the" Book of Enoch" this book is not in the "Canon of Scripture"and because it is mentioned in the "Dead Sea Scrolls" and in the Book of Jude 15-16!
I can only say it is interesting where I just have the opinion "Enoch" is divine scripture in origin that is my opinion it isn't in the Bible so that is why I declare it before I send you there!

"Book Of Luke"
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

What other information is there on Fallen Angels??I thought it would be interesting to list names of fallen angels listed in the "book of Enoch" Enoch was the great grandfather of Noah and in the first book of Enoch we are given names of the angels which are called the watchers! Remember this book of Enoch is not included in canonized scripture so including it as God's word is incorrect however it tells an interesting story and that is my only purpose for it's posting! "Names of the Fallen Angels!"
Some of the fallen angels that are given in the following list have other names; such as Rameel ('morning of God'), who becomes Azazel ('arrogant towards God') who is also called Gadriel ('wall of God') in Chapter 69. Another example is that Araqiel ('Earth of God') becomes Aretstikapha ('world of distortion') in Chapter 69. These are the names of the 20 leaders of the Watchers as listed in the translation of the Greek and Ethiopion texts.

The suffix of the names 'El' means 'God' (List of names referring to El) which is used in the names of high ranking angels. The Archangels all include this such as Uriel (Flame of God) or Michael "he who is like God" or "likened unto God".

# Translated Aramaic Greek Description Michael Knibb
1. Samyaza/Sêmîazâz/Semjâzâ/Shemyaza ??? Infamous for his Arrogance; 'shem' [meaning 'name' or 'fame' {whether positive or negative}] + 'azaz' [which means 'rebellion' or 'arrogance' as a negative particle]. Knibb lists him as “the (or my) name has seen” or “he sees the name”. The interesting thing about the second interpretation is there is a tale about Semjâzâ knowing the explicit name of God and making a deal with a human Istahar to tell her the name.
2. Arâkîba/Araqiel/Arakiel ??? Earth of God; the combination of araq (Babylonian in origin) and 'God'. Knibb lists him as a combination of two names “the land of the mighty one” or “the land is mighty”
3. Râmêêl/Azazel ??? Arrogant towards God; the combination of azaz [as a negative partivcle] and 'God'. “The evening of God”
4. Kôkabîêl ??? Star of God; the combination of kokab and 'God' “Star of God”
5. Tâmîêl Not known ???Perfection of God; the combination of tamiym and 'God'. “God is Perfect” or “Perfection of God”
6. Râmîêl ???Thunder of God; the combination of ra'am and 'God' “Thunder of God”
7. Daniel/Dânêl ??? Judgment of God; the combination of dan and 'God'. Knibb says it is “God has judged” and lists him as the seventh angel who taught the signs of the sun.
8. Chazaqiel/Êzêqêêl ??? Cloud of God; the combination of chazaq and 'God' “Shooting star of God”
9. Barâqîjâl/Baraqel ??? Lightning of God; the combination of baraq and 'God'. “Lightning of God”
10. Asâêl ??? Unknown but it's speculated to be 'creation of God' as a result of asah and 'God'. “God has made”
11. Armârôs ??? Suggested to be 'accursed one' “the one from Hermon”
12. Batariel/Batârêl ??? Valley of God; the combination of bathar (Babylonian in origin) and 'God'. “Rain of God”
13. Ananiel/Anânêl ??? Rain of God; the combination of anan and 'God' “cloud of god”
14. Zaqîêl ???Purity of God; the combination of zaqaq and 'God' Possibly “God has hidden” or “God has protected”
15. Shamsiel/Samsâpêêl ???Sun of God; the combination of shamash (Babylonian in origin) and 'God' “Sun of God” a derivative of Shamash the sun God.
16. Satariel/Satarêl/Sartael ??? Side of God; the combination of shetar (Babylonian in origin) and 'God' Possibly “Moon of God” or “Dawn of God”
17. Turiel/Tûrêl ???Rock of God; the combination of tuwr and 'God' Means “Mountain of God” or “Rock of God”
18. Yomiel/Jômjâêl ??? Day of God; the combination of yom and 'God' “Day of God”
19. Sariêl ??????? ‘?????? Moon of God; the combination of sa'ar and 'God' Possibly “light of God” or “moon of God” however in Knibb he is listed as Araziel.
20. Bezaliel/Busasejal/Basasael ??? (damaged) shadow of God; the combination of tsel and 'God' No listing due to lack of decent text with which to translate. It also isn’t included in Chaper 3 of R. H. Charles' translation, which was made in 1917. Knibb says as of 1982 their where various translations all with different names and meanings. This name is taken from the list that can be found in Chapter 69; he's listed as the 13th.

The following name is found in very few translations but most text don't include it:

Antares (Anti Ares)
This name really shouldn't be counted in the list because scholars would generally agree that the 20 names that are listed above or variations of those names were the only ones that were originally included; in the list in section 2 of the Book of Watchers.

Ahiah
The Legends of the Jews by Rabbi Louis Ginzberg describes Ahiah as the son of the fallen angel Semjâzâ.

Notes
The quotes that are found on this article were taken from a revised form of Archbishop R.H. Charles' translation. This version includes the Ethiopic the Greek preserved In Syncellus which consists of two separate forms, and the Greek Version discovered at Akhmîm which is stored at Gizeh Museum, Cairo.
Want to know about the fallen Angels? Try the book of Enoch it is thought to be inspired scripture about the fall of the Angels!

What is this information and where does it come from??? "Introduction to the Book of Enoch"

We first learn of Enoch in Genesis 5 but it leaves us with questions. Hebrews 11 has the answers and Jude quotes Enoch! How did Jude come to know the words of Enoch? They are not in the Bible. The answer of course, is The Book of Enoch. A book which is actually quoted not only by Jude, but also James the natural brother of Jesus.

The quote in (Jude 14-15) & (1 Enoch 1:9) is as follows: "In the seventh (generation) from Adam Enoch also prophesied these things, saying: 'Behold, the Lord came with his holy myriads, to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners spoke against him'."

What is the Book of Enoch and where did it come from? http://www.ibiblio.org/expo/deadsea.scrolls.exhibit/Library/enoch.html
Enoch was the grandfather of Noah. The Book of Enoch chapter 68:1 "And after that my grandfather Enoch gave me all the secrets in the book and in the parables which had been given to him, and he put them together for me in the words of the book of the parables." This makes it possible for the Book to have survived the flood as its not too hard to accept that Noah would have taken his Great Grandfathers writings with him onto the ark.

The Book of Enoch was extant centuries before the birth of Christ and yet is considered by many to be more Christian in its theology than Jewish. It was considered scripture by many early Christians. The earliest literature of the so-called "Church Fathers" is filled with references to this mysterious book. The early second century "Epistle of Barnabus" makes much use of the Book of Enoch. Second and Third Century "Church Fathers" like Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Origin and Clement of Alexandria all make use of the Book of Enoch. Tertullian (160-230 C.E) even called the Book of Enoch "Holy Scripture". The Ethiopic Church even added the Book of Enoch to its official canon. It was widely known and read the first three centuries after Christ. This and many other books became discredited after the Council of Laodicea. And being under ban of the authorities, afterwards it gradually passed out of circulation.

At about the time of the Protestant Reformation, there came to be a renewed interest in the Book of Enoch which had long since been lost to the modern world. By the late 1400's rumors began to spread that somewhere a copy of the long lost Book of Enoch might still exist. During this time many books arose claiming to be the long lost book and were later found to be forgeries.

The return of the long lost Book of Enoch to the modern western world is credited to the famous explorer James Bruce, who in 1773 returned from six years in Abyssinia with three Ethiopic copies of the lost book. In 1821 Richard Laurence published the first English translation. The famous R.H. Charles edition was published in 1912. In the following years several portions of the Greek text surfaced. Then with the discovery of cave 4 of the Dead Sea Scrolls, seven fragmentary copies of the Aramaic text were discovered.

The Book of Enoch is divided into five basic parts, but it is the The Book of Parables (37-71) which gives scholars the most trouble for it is primarily concerned with a figure called "the messiah"; "the righteous one"; "the chosen one" and "the son of man."
Chapter 46:1-2 [1] There I beheld the Ancient of days whose head was like white wool, and with him another, whose countenance resembled that of a man. His countenance was full of grace, like that of one of the holy angels. Then I inquired of one of the angels, who went with me, and who showed me every secret thing, concerning this Son of man; who he was; whence he was; and why he accompanied the Ancient of days. [2] He answered and said to me, This is the Son of man, to whom righteousness belongs; with whom righteousness has dwealt; and who will reveal all the treasures of that which is concealed: for the Lord of spirits has chosen him; and his portion has surpassed all before the Lord of spirits in everlasting uprightness."

The opening verses of the Book of Enoch tell us that the revelations in this book were not meant for Enoch's generation, rather a remote generation, and of course the book would make more sense to the generations after Christ. We know that the early Church made use of the Book of Enoch, but it was then all but lost, until recent times. Perhaps this book was meant for our generation, as it is widely available today after being concealed for over a millennia.

(Enoch 1:1-3) The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.

Thinking about the Occult?? I've been there!
Let me make something very clear to you, right now.Satan hates you,he absolutely hates you with a passion. I don't care if you like Judas Priest ,and like to dance by fires naked in the dark!
He would rip you to shreds in a moment ,and go on to the next person in line you mean absolutely nothing to him! God created you with a choice to live forever a Saint or perish a non believer in the lake of fire, described in Revelations! You see Satan is finished his book is already written right up to the ending! What isn't for sure is you? Satan would rather one more of God's creation perish with him ,than he would for you to find God, and God's love ,and live with God forever! So I guess my question to you is the same one I finally handed to myself who is this evil one that lures me? and what is the inevitable path I take if I choose to look into dark areas and search out Ghosts and demons without knowing who deals the cards in this realm? Let me explain to you who I am! I am a Knight for Jesus Christ,A child of the Most High God! For it is written Satan "you shall not tempt the Lord thy God,it is him you shall worship and Him only shall you serve!" I could go on, but what is important is that I overcame by the "blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony!" Jesus is Lord, and one day every knee shall bow and confess Jesus is lord to the glory of God the Father! Don't let some dark, desolate spirit rule you! Take command of your life,be the person God has called, or is calling you to be!

What about Possesion?
In Father Malachi Martin's 1987 book "Hostage to the Devil!" Newsweek says in it's review Martin presents exorcism as a perilous
"personal meeting" between priest and devil,a titanic clash of wills that threatens the lives, the sanity, even the souls of all attending!"-NewsWeek Malachi Martin -eminent theologian, premier authority on the Roman Catholic Church, and former professor at the Vatican's Pontifical Biblical Institute,-he is the Author of such national best sellers as The Final Conclave,
the Jesuits,Windswept House: A Vatican Novel. I myself listened to Father Malachi Martin on the Art Bell Show, some 6 or 7 years ago but only his voice echoes in my mind now! He has since passed on. Art had two very interesting questions for the seasoned exorcist the first was this, Do you know when someone is possesed? "Yes" said Father Martin "as a matter of fact there are some people that are perfectly possesed! When I run into them I know it!" Father are exorcisms increasing in regularity? "Yes" Father Martin replied" almost certainly and there increasing at a rapid rate with few exorcists ready to meet this challenge!" The page that deals with exorcism on this website is called "Spiritual Warfare!" If you have more questions
about Deliverance you can find answers and web links there!
Got a Storm in your Life?

I saved this small commentary for the end of the page for those who have reached out to
understand just a little more about this character Satan! Satan is in fact a Fallen Angel,a creation of the creator that at some point decided he would raise himself up above
his Creator (GOD). Satan was deceptive and beautiful and he glorified himself in his own beauty and fell from God's grace! Micheal the warrior Angel of God,bound Satan and cast him down to the Earth! Including one third of all the Angels of heaven that rebelled!
Satan's mission has been foretold in scripture but to make it a little clearer he seeks your destruction! Beware for he is not something just anyone can discern as a matter of fact we would say that now he occupies spiritual boundaries here on Earth! Why is he any danger to you? You might say? Well that's easy God has promised you his Son(Jesus Christ) as your redemption from a sinful world and it's ways and yourself, a promise of tremendous interest to those who seek to live forever and enjoy the glory of Salvation with God! Satan seeks to take those men and women who would not or could not grasp this with him into the "Lake of Fire" because he realizes he has but a short time before God has him to answer for his indiscretions! Now Satan is winning his battle with individuals daily and he is doing this through corruption and addiction and any other way he can! Now I don't want to say that everything is the Devil it certainly is not but many things will pull your focus from God and since your window of time is closing Satan can win this battle for your soul! Will you have the time to understand John3:16 or understand that Jesus is Lord and your personal Savior and that he loves you! Maybe you say? Well Satan is counting on that maybe for your soul because if you do not accept Jesus death as payment for your sins then Satan is won! Just remember he didn't win my soul or some of my friends souls! In fact I am counting on spending time with God and living as his! If you think a fiery furnace is cool well your reality is subject to death! Just in an eternal kind of way!
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
I wouldn't like to consider this as my life's ending when the Lord actually wished that none should perish and will freely save you from your sin! Accept Jesus into your heart let the light of God tear apart the Darkness that has claimed you!
Stand as a called and chosen one before "YOUR GOD"!
